Titles don't matter to me anymore, no matter how cool, they'll soon be replaced by that damn Discerning Individual... Actually I'm Very Discerning Individual, but same difference. Wish they'd stop the quest from giving a title.

Hah, totally agree. Every time I have nothing to do for an hour or two I end up with Fang Finder again. =P So eh. Best title ever though is Roc Star, when I get that I'm holding onto it.

My title is "Royal Swordsman" I have no idea how I got it but I do. A royal Swordsman is a certain rank member in the royal knights army! So WooT! I prefer Temple Knights but that's cool enough. I did another quest and it didn't replace the title hmmm. Anyone knows where that title is from?

the titles i liked most where stampeder and leir to the holy crest (that one from the dragoon quest) but i hate crab crusher, its sounds like a n00b title

Yesterday, I finally was able to buy a Republic Subligar to use only in parties, as the Merc. Capt. Hose and it's +2 evasion is useless in a party for me (THF/NIN) (kept it for farming). I head to Crawler's to join a party and switch to my subligar. I also had a bazaar on so my party members were inclined to examine me.

Almost immediately, one of them asks, "How'd you get that title?". Since I never really know my current title and I do a lot of repeatables I'm never sure which one it is, I had to check. My title at the time was "Looks Sublime in a Subligar" due to finishing the Shining Like a Subligar quest in Norg earlier that day. What makes this funnier is that my model is the bald hume male that look anything but sublime in a subligar. I need to keep that title as long as I have this subligar on in parties.
