Ok sounds like some of you are a thief. Here's what you do.
This is what I did during Beta testing, it works pretty well but you NEED to have a sh1t load of patience. But the gil you get (if your a thief) is quite rewarding as is when you hit level 15 (Treasure Hunter and Sneak Attack) From level's 1 - 5, smack around the Bees near the entrance of South. Move up to Vomp Hill and screw around until level 10 (or so) keep in mind I did this with a damn Onion Knife beacuse NO ONE sold brass daggers in the Beta for some damn odd reason. Level 10 - 14 you hit the bees, goblins, ANYTHING. Have something to do inbetween when you sit to heal. Watch out for the damn Bomb King fuckin around at night cause it'll kill you (I forgot if it's Bomb King or just Bomb/Grenade, whatever) At level 14, you can be lucky and head off to maybe Valkum Dunes or that mine in North Gust (forgot the name) of course you'd need a party, but assuming you ARE a thief no one will want you in their party until your level 15. If you are any other class, you might be able to get into a party and do some early leveling in dunes..I say around level 12 - 15? After 15 you for SURE have to move to dunes.
