Just to clarify, I didn't mean that we should be on FFXI 24 hours/7 days week. I, for one, would never be able to do that!

What I did mean was that AFTER we determine a certain pop time (say, we expect the NM to POP around 7AM-10AM tomorrow), then I expect everyone who committed to being there actually be there, even if it means skipping work, school, etc.

Otherwise, because the NM battle requires many people, and there are other PTs waiting to taunt it the moment it pops, it would be impossible to fight it, and others who actually waited there would be totally wasting their time by those who promised to be there, but didn't show. :sweat:

Of course, if we do get this thing going, we would determine if a given NM's next predicted pop time is feasible for everyone, and if not, we would decide as a group not to hunt it.

I would want to join but this is way too much of a commitment. I need to have a life by going to school/work/girfriend/pets/parents/ect. I think this would be a good summer LS since im guessing most of us are still in high school/college. I could be available 24/7 once summer pops around. Summer for me is coming in like 3 weeks. I think it would take a week or so to get everyone recruited anyway. I’m in if it doesn’t start till then or maybe just join once my summer comes around. Sure, right now I could stay up all night and probably be available 2/3's of the whole entire day, but I cannot cancel school just because of a big NM pop. I would really like to join though. I’m pretty sure we will just be scouting for a few weeks anyway so I think my schedule will work out fine.

you guys don't have to ditch school or work... Just that when they're creating the group and planning the time to kill it, if you know you're gonna be busy at the time, then don't volunteer for that particular HNM. I think that's what buttermilk's trying to say Now if you were drunk and/or high at the time and volunteered for an HNM camp on Monday from 8AM to 4PM, you're expected to ditch school for it :sweat:

Nahh I for 1 know these HNM pops are a bit crazy I waited the other day for the Serket for 8 hours <another all nighter> PLus there was my good friends at MasterMind waiting in the wings ...so if you live in EST GOOD LUCK cuz u be up till the weeee hours of the morning ..........

nooooo >< thats unheard of, what i love most about Japanese gamers is that they never give up on anything ^^ great way to be, Plus I think u would know better then that people are counting on you to be there to wtach there back in battle atleast thats how I look at it Those HNM Battle could last 40mins+ but .....its well worth it in the end..............
