Sheila + Kirie, sorry for all the complications this stupid topic made. I never really wanted to get on your bad side. No, im not trying to suck up or anything just hear me out. Ill admit, I am a person that is moody as hell if no one has noticed from the 1/2 year ive played this game. The day I wrote this topic was when I had to go in a few hours, so I knew I didn?ft have enough time to get into a PT that day so I decided to check out the forums. I looked into the ?gRagnarok Citizens Directory?h topic thingy and I was amazed. I read down the whole list of names really for the first time. I read all those names and thought to myself ?gdamn, I know all these people I started from level 1 with are still playing but we haven?ft talk to each other for months.?h

I remembered all the good times that we had and I still wanted to bring them back together. Before as you know, I tried with Drako but that didn?ft work because a clan war with xuande/anarvin or something lame like that started to happen which made Xuande leave the LS. I didn?ft even know what happened until it was too late. Once he left, more people left and more people left. I know the topic makes me sound like I want to be cluttered next to a bunch of English speaking people but Drakos LS only had about 6 regular members and that was it. I?fll also have to admit that I had more fun on that LS with 6 regulars than I did on NeoG because I got to know those 5 people pretty well. I just wanted everyone to be together again. Yes I know, there is friends lists and /t?fs but you really can?ft do that every single day and you can?ft hear each other talk everyday either.

I dunno, let?fs just get off that topic. When I said ?gRoD doesn?ft support their new members,?h that was a VERY broad statement. To tell you the truth, RoD has helped me get hard to get items like AF and genkai breaks more than ever single LS ive been to combined. A lot of people (didn't say all) don?ft put forth the effort to help in this game because mostly everyone just looks out for themselves but I was getting some really good help from RoD. When I got the RoD shell, I was really just planning on using it as one of my hang out shells. The ONLY person I knew on there was Ceis pretty much so I didn?ft feel comfortable being on there all the time. Plus I had other LS?fs that people wanted me to go on as well. Once RoD started to help me out with all this stuff, I was really surprised and I felt that you guys really cared about your members. You all could have been leveling up or doing something out but you just ended up helping out the new member (me) a lot. After I noticed how much you all cared, I started to want to become a full time member. Not LS hopping anymore. No, I didn't want to just stay because I was getting so much help but I really did think they you all actually cared and I thought that would be a nice LS to be in. I really wanted to become stationary somewhere and I felt like it was RoD.

What that statement really meant by that RoD not supporting new members statement was that I was a new RoD member but yet you make me look like an idiot because I make a stupid post. Sure, friends should let friends know if they are doing something stupid but the way you two did was totally out of line especially to one of your new LS members. If you tried to tell one of your new friends if they were being stupid in real life and you said it just how you said to me, just admit it, you probably would have got punched in the face by anyone. Just a simple PM on why I should delete the topic before more people see it would of been very thoughtful.

Again ill just get back to the issue way above this message. I did miss the old times and I wanted to get peeps back together again so I made this topic. I knew all the feedback wasn?ft going to be positive. I knew some people would make me look like an ass but it ended up being 2 RoD members. When I first read Sheila?fs post, I thought it was pretty cute actually. I had a good laugh when I saw that Arnold Schwarzenegger comment and its little audio clip website. Then I started to see the really negative comments starting to come out from you too. I guess I wasn?ft really expecting such negative feedback for people that have helped me out so much. I guess I was sorta surprised and acted in a totally childish way and I probably turned the topic into the debate it is now. Since we are all mostly adults here now (most of us at least), I will admit that I was the one who fought back when I shouldn?ft have. Guess I was just sorta pissed off. I was just totally surprised and upset from the fact that the people I expected the least to make me look like a dumb ass just pretty much hit the spot.

I want to put this all behind me though and just pretend it never happened. I don?ft know if you accept that or not, it really doesn?ft matter. Final Fantasy XI was built to be a 5 year game, 1 year has almost passed by already. I do plan to stay on the game and I don?ft want to spend the next 4 years or so being mad at people or people being mad at me. I know this is just a video game but when you have a character that is over a 1,000 hours long and you will most likely have to deal with people for the next 10,000 hours you plan, it turns into more than just a video game. I am all up for the giant LS member shell. Since about 98% of the importers on Ragnarok came from this site alone, it wouldn?ft be a bad idea to have a ffxionline.com linkshell. A place where all importers can make announcements and everyone getting together again.

I don?ft know. I really don?ft care anymore now. I just had a thought and I put it on the forum and it turned out to more than what I expected. I am up for the LS though. Why don?ft we do all of ourselves a favor and just drop the whole debate and get on the main topic again. People seem to be agreeing now on this new LS and I think it is a very good idea myself. I?fll admit it, even if this new LS was made, I may or may not be a regular but if I wasn?ft a regular I would defiantly pop by when what ever other LS im on is dead or just when I want to talk / listen to all the people I use to know. Seulgaist lol, no, im not some stupid loner person who just relies on online friends to carry out my life needs. Someone comes over my house at least once a day for hours. I just moved to a new place and I met a lot of great people. Thanks for the feedback everyone. It helped me think of different paths I could take to make this game more enjoyable~?ô

Yeah, you're right Buttermilk. It was just the first idea that popped into my head because it meant something to me. However, a name that can mean something to everyone will be a much better idea. Also, I really didn't expect or even want to be the shell holder. I just wanted to get the ball rolling. It would be much better for someone like Ping or a better-known player to start the LS (Bebetaro would be my nominee). Also, it's good to hear that you are feeling a little better now, Seymoure. I really hope you keep playing and figure out what makes you happiest in-game. It would be sad to see such a great picture collection stop

Honestly, i would not want to see neogundan come back. Not because i have my own linkshell but because of the way some people treat each other and how they refer to other IMPORTER!! linkshells as being "full of newbs." I know this is abit off topic but WTF is that all about. That just ticks me off to see fellow importers cut down on each other. Back to the topic at hand, neogundan was good for abit and yes, i admit i do not talk to the people that i used to on a basis of 3 months. But it was broken because of several reasons... Those i do not know. For Seymoure, im sorry man but i cant agree with you wanting it to be back(Btw this is Demonslayer.) I know i may not talk to you or many other people anymore and also have yet to meet many on other ls, like RageofDark and DragonOfAvarice for example. But, i do not think it would be good for all of us to come onto 1 linkshell. Like Sheila said, we have found success in other linkshells and i do not think that should be disturbed..

Oy! (>_<) Closing this before it gets any worse. As for a single importer LS, there are reasons why there isn't one now. Both sides to that have been pointed out now. From a logistics standpoint, having more than 20 people talking in a LS chat gets crowded, having an entire LS filled gets confusing as you don't know everyone. Still want one? Take the initiative and try again but be aware of the reasons why anyone interested will want it. For communication/socialization or a free ticket to get help?
