Doesn't this game suck now? Thinking of quitting. We need NeoG back

A lot of people including myself were all for the break of NeoG but now we all realize how much we miss it. The importer community is small and now we are all broken apart cause every single person and there grandmothers have made there own LS splitting each other apart. ALL the people who I started the game out with (you know, the people you leveled up forever with and did most of your missions with) I never speak to anymore. These people I use to talk or at least see talk on the Neo G LS for about 700 hours now is just gone like they aren?ft even in the game anymore. We all hated NeoG because it became a big spam heaven but you all don?ft need to BS me, those times were WAY fun then the times now. Now I feel like im just all alone in the game and just do some stupid /waves every time I pass someone I know every so often. Just admit, the game isn?ft as fun as it use to be because we are all split up. You know the best times I have on these games now? It's when I participate in a M10 or a M9 because everyone is back together again in a short amount of time and I enjoy it very much. You see, when you talk to / listen to people for 700 hours then suddenly you do a /t like once every few weeks now, it ruins the game. All of us (most of us) importers have to rely on other importers. Before I got the game, when I was just a stupid person who would talk about ff11 on the forums, I use to say this ?gff11 will be the best game ever because people actually get to see how good you are. In FFX, why try to get every character to 99,999? Who?fs gonna care? You?fre mother? You?fre friends? They?fll just say ?gcool?h and that?fs it. In Final Fantasy XI, you have people that looks up on you, and you have people you look onto. The game is like a giant race, people want to be the best because other people actually notice so it drives you on. You?fll never quit playing FF11 because you want to be the best?h Now, that use to be the case when NeoG was around, but now with the split, I DON?fT have anyone to look on and NO ONE looks on me. It?fs because we are all split. The LS im in on only has like 3-4 members even though it is a good LS. I just feel all alone. I miss talking and listening to all the people I use to know. Even if they did annoy the shit out of me, it?fs what made the game fun. FF11 is like this forum. This forum is fun as hell if everyone is together cause we all have known each other for a very long time. Now, what if Ping one day decides to close the forum and we all go off to all these new different forums? Then we are all split, then we just have to talk to people we don?ft know on these forums (like the Japanese) sure we could make new friends on the forums / game, but the truth is in the game, 95% of the importers cant hold a basic conversation with a Japanese person including myself. Let me just give you a little example of what I think will happen in FF11 eventually. I use to go to the greatest FFX forum of all time, it was at ffxposed.com. That forum had like 3x as many members as this forum did. It was the best. Now, this is just like NeoG. Then one day we kept getting waves of stupid people on the forums which ruined it (just like NeoG), no one could stand the newbies anymore so everyone went off and made there own FFX forums. Guess what happened to all those forums? Each of the 3-4 forums that were made from the ffxposed forum has like 2 regulars now including ffxposed. EVERYONE quit because the forum isn?ft fun anymore. You don?ft know anyone and it sucks. I feel like this will happen to FF11 cause I know many people have quit already and I want to quit myself. This game was built to be 5 years long right? The importer community is so small we can?ft be split up like we are now. I don?ft want to /wave people I use to know for the next 4 years. That is really lame. I?fm thinking of just selling my account on Ebay or something so I at least get something out of all my hard work. No one cares that im a 53 Dark Knight now, cause NO ONE KNOWS. It?fs just like FFX, why get your HP to 99,999 when barely anyone is going to know about it? Well this is the same situation with FFXI. Why get to level 65? Ok, enough with that. I shit you not, these people (most of them) are the people I started the game out with and played for 5 months with. Ever since the break of NeoG, you know how many people I have conversations with now? This:

That?fs about it. When NeoG broke, I was afraid that everyone would split and go there own ways so I tried to get everyone I knew ?gwell?h back together again. That?fs when I joined up with Drako. Yes we know, everyone thinks Drako is some psycho bitch and he probably is but he hasn?ft been on in over a month so we don?ft have to worry about him anymore. He had a LS already started so instead of just making a new one like all the other 100000 people did, I just decided to join his and get as many people as I know on there as I can. Of course that back fired on me. Pretty much just hurt the reputations of a few good people. Now were all just split up again. I know a few LS?fs are fine that have been established for a long time like Evil or RoD. Even though I have both there LS?fs, I don?ft like to go on them because I don?ft know anyone on there and it makes me feel like an outsider even though they have helped me out a bunch. What I had in mind was to bring back NeoG. Please don?ft give me any of that ?gstop living in the past?h or ?gNeoG broke for a reason?h crap. Cause you don?ft even have to waist your time, the game WAS A LOT more fun when we were all together as a community and you know it was... This game sucks now, I am seriously thinking of just quitting and getting the NA version. No, im not trying to make anyone feel sorry for me or give me sympathy but this game isn?ft like it use to be. Still, I feel all alone. When NeoG got spamish and I had my LS on all the time, people asked me ?gwhy do you have the LS on, it?fs really spammy right now?h I said ?git?fs because if I didn?ft hear people talk, I would probably go insane from boredom.?h Before when I first joined, I use to give new importers 2 hour tutorials on how to play the game. I told them about NeoG. I said ?git?fs nice to hear people talk on the LS, even if you don?ft say anything, it feels good to know you?fre not alone.?h Now it?fs pretty much all ruined. We need to come back together again. What I had in mind again was bringing back NeoG. I know some people have already made a topic about it but that was back then when NeoG first broke and everything was fine but now we all realize how trashed the game is now. We all know Laquincain was pretty much the leader on NeoG. No, im not trying to suck up or anything, but since Jonneyram was never on, we all pretty much accepted Cain as the leader. When NeoG broke, I begged Cain to just make another LS again but he didn?ft want to do it. Well, now with the situation now, I don?ft think it would be a bad idea. I say make the same exact NeoG LS. Same name, same color, same LS runners, same everything. People have become well established on other LS?fs like Red Lotus and that is fine. But I really think that every importer should at least have 1 LS that everyone is on and go on our other LS?fs when ever. I feel like this will bring the small community we have back together again. I know this wont really protrain with Evil or RoD or Interatic? Because they have been around since NeoG so they all have established friends because they all did missions and battles together way back when they were level 1?fs. I really don?ft know, It?fs not like NeoG has to be brought back but I really think it should be done. Just admit it, all the people who got the game before 2003. Wasn?ft the game a lot more fun back then? When there was a sense of adventure and excitement? Well, that?fs my words, pls post and tell me what you think?c

There is a reason why NG broke...

Lets not start the old "Let's revive NeoGundan" debate....it's over, done with. Many have found success after the break of the shell, and maybe you were just not quite as lucky. It's IMPOSSIBLE to have those people be the only ones you talk to. It is of your own doing. Have you opened up to new people, have you tried talking to someone you didnt quite know so well? If you want more people to talk to, start making more friends. This place is not some lonely wasteland, there are plenty of people out there to talk to. You're just not taking the initiative.

Seulgaist, I don't remember if you were a NeoG regular or not but if you were then you would understand a little better. I know you hate me since I was on Drako's LS even though ive never talked to you once but please don't start flaming. I spent hours typing on what I think would be best for all the importers and not just a select few. Yeah, some people don't want NeoG back and that is fine, but I bet most people do just so we can actually talk together again. When you PT with people for 5 months then suddenly *pam* they're gone, it's pretty much like you lost your best friends in the game. Most people I see now, (like Laquincain) aren?ft even in an import LS anymore and I find it kinda sad. This isn't just for me, it's even for all the origionals. What ever happened to the gang with Seishi, Cain, Cooty, Neridia, Palinmage, Beb, Choppy, ect?. They aren't in the same LS's anymore and I never see them together anymore. I also find that sad as well. Sure, I could open up and make new friends, but the truth is that it's hard to do that outside of your own LS. Most LS's have like 5 members and I think that's quite stupid actually. We should only have like 2-3 import LS's and not like 10. The fact of this topic isn?ft making new friends, it's bringing all the dozens of friends you started off from level 1 with back together again. Yeah I know, there was some great debate about bringing NeoG back but those were just made by new people who had this in there post : "Lets bring neo g back, what do you all think huh!?" like 2 days after NeoG broke when everyone was happy when it broke. I spend hours typing the main points why we should all be back together again. The LS doesn?ft even have to be a real LS, just every single importer having at least 1 LS that all the other importers have I think would make a difference. The other day I just walked up to someone, I noticed that he had on an importer LS and was in his higher 20's. I asked him "hey you new to Ragnarok?" he said "no, ive been on since last year." That is quit sad, the import community is so small and we don?ft even know who anyone is anymore.

Seen previous threads on why NeoGundan is not coming back? PERHAPZ you saw them and ignored the advice everyone has put forth, time and again.

Take a look at what you are proposing, you want yet another neogundan with *certain* people. Which is exactly what (!) creating yet another LS is. Your delusion of everyone coming back together and getting things done for you will not happen.

Give it up already, everyone has tons of other things to do (no, not as a race, PERSONAL goals) ingame. People want to try out and enjoy things now that an expansion is released. As such, if someone wants to max out levels and do whatever on their own, isn't it their business?

My advice, you want people to do stuff together? Then go organize it instead of hoping someone will come along and do it for you while crying a river. Take a look at cain's thread.

What would happen if Ceis and all the people you started playing with just suddenly went on other LS's with 4-5 people. Wouldn't you try to get your friends back together? Especially since you spent the last 1/2 year leveling up with them? hmmmm, sorry to say but this has no point. You will make new friends in new LSs, and on the side it says you have 3 importer LS (Evil RoD Legion) and I know for a fact you can find people on there....sure it won't be full like NG, but I think it's better this way now. There are WAY too many importers now for one whole LS, and it would prob be full of crap a lot of the time.

This way allows for more choice and freedom.

NG was dissolved for various reasons, and afaik, valid ones. While I admit I wasn't an active member of that linkshell in any way, shape, or form, I think it's within my rights to say this post defies logic.

First of all, people who look to this game for some sort of self-esteem boost (i.e. OMG I ROCK, PEOPLE LOOK UP TO ME AND I OWNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!) need to really reexamine themselves. This is a GAME. Turning it into some sort of digital pissing contest is not only off-the-wall, but SCARY. If you get off on having the "LATEST EQUIPS" and "BEING LVL 9999" you really need your head checked.

It's not hard to add people you've known for a long while to your friendlist, keep in touch via tells or parties. If you value their friendship, you would seek them out. Not try and arrange things so that they form a comfortable barrier between you and everyone else on the server. And hell, if you REALLY miss all your old "cronies" why don't you start your own ls and invite the people you miss? Why "reinstate NG" when it's a proven fact it did nothing but cause trouble?

From your post, you sound like nothing more than a little kid whose blankie's been taken away. Your comfort zone's been taken away and you're feeling lonely and exposed. Instead of trying to move on you attempt to recreate an environment that suited you. Did it ever occur to you that NG didn't suit everyone? That a lot of people looked to make their own lses and join new ones because they didn't want to be there anymore? NG wasn't about serving you and your ego only. It was initially formed when importers were few and far between and there weren't helpful sites like this one around. That time has passed. Move on already.

Two things Seymoure (and they arent flames, so dont worry):

1. I was on NG long before you were, and, subsequently, left long before you. Even when I started in NG, I always carried around my TMV pearl cause thats where my true friends were. Now, TMV involved into inertiatic, and I'm having the most fun I've ever had in this game. And you know what? The most people we've EVER had on the LS was maybe 12, 15 people, and thats a rare occurance. Its not about how many people are on the LS, its how good of friends you are with one another.
2. I never said I hated you, so where you got that idea I'm not sure.

I was on the LS before Inertiatic was made as well, and it also was a decent place. Not because of the number, but because people knew eachother.

We have such small amount of importers as it is and you think we would all support each other but that?fs not the case with some people in Ragnarok. Sheila+Seulgaist, I didn?ft realize you were on NeoG way way way back from when it first started. I should have just never made this thread. I forgot about all the hate people have and I just pretty much ruined my rep. It?fs ok though. The truth is, I have talked to many importers and they all know the old times were better as well but they wont post because they don?ft want to get bitch at and tell them they just lost there blankie or anything. 90% of the reason why I got this game was for my website I work on. I mostly just went on to take hundreds of pictures to use on my website and stuff. After a month or so, I started to get to know people really well. These people are the only ones that made me still have the game today.

You would be surprised how many people want NeoG back but you just don?ft listen because when someone posts a comment about it, they just get bitched at to death. Out of the whole 1/2 a year ive had this game. I have never had an argument with anyone once. Not at all. Now I am finally getting in an argument out of all people from some of my own new LS members. I hated NeoG when it got spamish but deep down inside I did like it. At least I could talk to all my friends all Zoey, Awntawn, Lonewolfy, Akoiroth, Elite, Xuande, ect. Then NeoG broke so that was over. No big deal, I could just move on, so I joined up with Drako and got as many people back as I could. Then the whole Anarvin / Drako thing started to happen. Personally I had no clue what happened until people from my LS I was in started to leave and that pretty much ruined that LS.

Yet I had to move on again, and I finally found RoD. Yeah I thought I was fitting in really well until 2 RoD members right now just made me feel and look like a piece of shit. (thanks for not making me look like a stupid white cracker Sheila, your comments were very nice) Yeah I know, Boohoo, Seymoures little sad life story. Yes I know, you all don?ft give a shit because no one gives a shit about anyone because we are human. When I mentioned I wasn't an active member of NG, I never said I never owned a pearl. Not only an NG one but an AG one too. You know why I threw it away? Because it was ridiculous. The chaos created by throwing all those people together was insane. There were good times but they were sorely overshadowed by cowards and assholes. I'm sure a lot of people feel the same. THE MIX DID NOT WORK. If you want to be surrounded by people who "make you feel comfortable" then (AGAIN) you should make your OWN linkshell and invite people you "like." Why try and recreate NG? Admit that it isn't NG itself you miss, but the comfort zone it was for you.
