BCNM Battle Proposal

Ouch! Sorry to hear Jei. I, too, want a Refresh, but I haven't got enough coins yet. For 40 BCNM, can you go as alliance? If so, that may be the way. But be sure that the PT members are your friends or LS. I would also be interested in hearing about the strategy.

Jei, I've read somewhere that Refresh will be made easier to obtain in the next update. I certainly hope so.

These are all 6 member only battles, like any other burning circle.

It feels like 6 tote or totetote VS 6 normal players. Definately brd alive is priority but I think even if bard dies, we should drag to the entrance while still trying our best to kill off a target at the same time, instead of giving up completely and recharging.

If jenny has 60 war and subs his WHM he'd be good for that spot. Gackt only has THF, BST and MNK sub. I plan to redo this battle with my coins (someday).

Lv40 NMs at Gedeas:
Party: PLD/WAR, WAR/THF, MNK/THF (Or THF/MNK), BRD/WAR (or WHM, PLD, BLM), WHM/BLM, WHM/BLM (or RDM/BLM, BRD/WHM)
Preparation:
1. Food: ŠC‚Ì?K. For first timer, 10ƒnƒCƒ|?[ƒVƒ‡ƒ“ to each member, 5 ƒ„?[ƒOƒhƒhƒŠƒ“ƒN?@and 5 ƒnƒCƒG?[ƒeƒ‹ for Mages
2. Decide Renkei

Stratergy
0. Eat ŠC‚Ì?K?Acast ƒvƒ?III, get into circle.
1. PLD targets Boss (Black one) and taunt, use invincible, others rush toward and attack same target (boss, that is). Use 2hr ability .
2. Bard uses 2hr ability and sing rurubai
3. PLD and WAR TAUNT monsters running after BRD, Warrior use War cry constantly to lure all target to own. (This is a very important part coz if the WAR is a coward, you gonna have a hard time)
4. RMD or WHM casts Sleep on rurubai resisted monsters if possible (don't forget to heal menbers)
5. killed boss, switch to next target. repeat 2-4.

note1. If you are still worry about it, put another Bard as 6th member. Still, if you lost, I have nothing to say but to blame the poor player skill of your members.

note2. For experienced players, get a BRD/BLM coz he will be able to use Rurubai 1, 2 and Sleep.

for lvl 40 BCNM, do u have to be level 50 just to accept the quest and get the item, or do you have to be 50 to even join the fight?

You need be at least Lv25. Even if you are Lv999, your Level will be pulled down to 40 for this. (Back to normal after battle)

Our trip to 50coins yesterday.... Things didnt go as planned... Bard get really screwed when you are singing ballad or whatever when those little onionheads wake up... Hi-potion really do SUCK BTW... 100HP that's ridiculous...

Maybe you should know how to measure around what time they are going to wake up again and get ready to sing rurubai before they wake up. Try boost your CHR next time. Good luck next time

If you need help, provide me around 15 hi potions (5 just incase if you going with 2 bards) and get a well balanced PT.

nah.. It was brd/rdm, rdm/blm, whm/blm, war/mnk, drk/war, pld/war...

I was just starting singing ballad when those onionheads wake up... sigh

Q: Do you lose exp when you die in BCNM fight?

EDIT: Also, the reward for 60 BCNM is the best weapon for your class right? What's the reward for 40 BCNM?

You dun neccessary get the item of your job also, it is completely random what it gives you.

You lose EXP as your original lvl... Which lv60 is 2k exp... Dunno somehow it become 1200 after getting raised tho... Which I dun really understand there

there's a 'discount' on lost EXP for the 55+ which was introduced months ago, thats why its not 2k exp.

Maybe when I do it I will find another bard with me next time...
Or our next strategy is to have 3 or more members sub bst and tame the little buggers....
