BCNM attempt proposal:
Looks like we'll have our first attempt of our LS to tackle the BCNM!! Here is my proposal on our fight from my readings of the fighting reports. If anybody has any opinions on different strategies, or if anybody has fought them before and has any other advices, please post
Sheila - if possible, please email this to the Japanese members of the fight to get their opinions/advices, thanks.

We are hoping to get the Monk weapon from this fight, so we have decided to fight the Giddeus 99 BCNM, since this is the place for it to drop, it seems. There will be 6 Yagudos to fight in this battle. They are:
Yoo Mihi the Haze - Ninja
Aa Nawu the Thunderblade - Samurai
Gii Jaha the Raucous - Bard
Cuu Doko the Blizzard - White Mage
Voo Tolu the Ghostfist - Monk
Zuu Xowu the Darksmoke - Black Mage
Before fighting, we should make the following preparations. This is our team (not totally final yet)
1. White / Black - get 5 Yagudo Drinks, 3 High Ethers
2. Black / White - get 5 Yagudo Drinks, 3 High Ethers, 1 Reraise Conquest Scroll
3. Bard / White - get 10 High Potions, 1 Reraise Conquest Scroll
4. Monk / Dark Knight - get 10 High Potions, 1 Reraise Conquest Scroll. Should use Claws
5. Warrior / ? - get 10 High Potions, 1 Reraise Conquest Scroll. Should use 1 handed axe.
6. Paladin / Warrior - get 10 High Potions, 1 Rerasie Conquest Scroll. Should use 1 handed sword and wear Shield.
Plus any extra food you would like to eat for the battle.
This is our strategy proposal.
When we enter the Burning Circle:
- Everybody use their Reraise Conquest Scroll (White mage uses Reraise2)
- Everybody eat their favorite food.
- White Mage casts Pro3/Shell3. Bard sings Ballad1/Ballad2
- Walk up the path until you can see the Yagudos, while not having them aggro. (Cast Invisi if not certain)
- Identify the Yagudos and which job they are. We will fight them in the following sequence: Black Mage > White Mage > Bard > Samurai > Ninja > Monk.
Starting the battle:
- When starting the fight, the objective is to gather all the enemies together (So that we can get them all to sleep). There are 3 methods: Warrior's "War Cry", Monk (Dark Knight Sub)'s Poisonga, and Paladin's "Invincible".
- Therefore, once we targeted the Black Mage and started the fighting mode, run up to the black mage Yagudo. Here is what each member should do at this time:
= Warrior - Use War Cry to try to get the Yagudo's attention. Taunt any Yagudos if they turn to the Mages/Bard.
= Paladin - if War Cry was not successful, use Invincible. Taunt any Yagudos if they turn to the Mages/Bard.
= Monk - Use 2 hour skill "100 Fists". Try to kill the black mage as fast as possible.
= White Mage - Use Black Sign + Silence on the White Mage. Then Cure, with emphasis on the Bard especially if lullaby wears out.
= Black Mage - Use Black Sign + Silence on the Black Mage. Then use Sleep2/Sleep on any Yagudos resisted Lullaby or out of Lullaby's range. Do not use attack Magic until the Yagudo has only 1/3 of its HP left. Then go ahead (Yagudo's weakness is ice).
= Bard - Use Sould Voice + Group Lullaby after War Cry or Invincible gathered the Yagudos. Use the single target Lullaby to any Yagudo that was out of range or resisted. Then Sing Ballad2/Pian4 (Avoiding Bard Yagudo to use its own Lullaby)
- Notice that the White Mage Yagudo *WILL NOT SLEEP* (because white mage has auto-regen). Do not repeatedly try to make it sleep. Try to silence it if possible.
- The Renkei will be "Sky Fist" (Monk, claw ws 200) > "Rampage" (Warrior, 1h axe ws 175)
(Note - Is "Sky Fist" > "Calamity" (1h axe ws 200) more powerful?)
- If any Yagudo awakes from sleep, make them sleep again!
- The priority when curing is to the mages, especially the bard (Because of the lullaby hate). Fighters, please use High Potions if you feel you're in danger of dying.
- if the Black Mage Yagudo started to cast magic again, remember to use silence!
After the Black Mage dies, turn your attention to the White Mage:
- After the fight starts, try to drag the White Mage to the path leading to the main fighting area. This is because just in case we all die, the Yagudos will return to the main area leaving the PT. That way we can revive, rest, and go again.
- Basically, the strategy is the same as Black Mage.
- Remember to keep an eye on the rest of the Yagudos, if they awakened or started to cast magic, use sleep/lullaby/silence according.
After the White Mage dies, turn the attention to the Bard:
- Bard - Make sure Pian remains before it wears off.
After the Bard dies, attack the Samurai, and then the Ninja:
- Since not much info about the two Yagudos, be careful. Not known whether they have "2 hour skill" attacks.
Finally, we attack the Monk:
- The only thing to keep in mind, is that, when the Yagudo does its "100 fists" attack, everybody runs away, and let the bard use lullaby to make it to sleep and wait for it to wear out.
