Still waiting to get to level 60...I was just wondering that when I hit 68 or so if there are any high level weavers in this linkshell that can HQ the WHM JSE Mitts, Slacks, and Pumps, and HQ the vermillion cloak for me. Just a thought to make a better WHM for dynamis when it comes......>_> (Level 18 now ^^)

................no one is going to make that crap for you unless you have the millions of gil to pay for it, you're not going to get it for free so that you cure better in dynamis. And the chance of getting hq is very low.
And seriously, I don't understand what some people are thinking. Don't bother to post unless you're 65 or atleast somewhat close to 65. No one cares that if in 3 months you'll be a high enough level to go, just ask in 3 months or whatever.

Dude, don't worry, I'll be able to go in prolly about two months...I have nothing to do this summer other than work a few hours a week and go to football conditioning, I'll be ready to go VERY soon. You would be surprised how easy it is to get HQ items when you have a maxed skill, I will have the millions of gil by the time I need the stuff, and I'll be okay without the HQ items, I was just making sure. I have prepared my whm so much that I don't have anything else to do other than worry what happens after level 60+.....

So in two months you're going to gain 50 levels while keeping your subjob fully leveled, having up to date/decent equipment, finish all 5 genkai, finish all AF, and have millions of gil.
I would be amazed if you finished half of this crap.

You're so right Kirara, but I was posting about the Vermillion Cloak and the JSE because I was planning on making myself better as an Individual WHM, so I could support the Dynamis team better, oh well, I'll just have to wait and see what happens over the next few levels.....(I'm not trying to be conceited but it is possible to get to 70 in two months, I seriously have almost nothing to do this summer)

Yeah ... I do think that S-EX is somewhat responsible for it though. The design of linkshells in this game makes it inherently easy to just jump from one shell to another whenever one sees fit. So we end up with people holding pearls to 10 different shells, and just randomly switching in-between them to ask for help from #4, or recruit people to party from #8, etc etc. There is no loyalty to any particular shell, no real friendships being made, etc. Doesn't help that the leaders/sacks of half the shells randomly pass out pearls to any Tom, Dick or Harry just to get more people in. I'd go as far to say as the current LS system promotes disloyalty.

Which is what, I think, contributes to all the drama in the end-game LS'es. People in these shells aren't in it as friends trying to get each other stuff, they're in it for themselves first and foremost.

Asking for help in this game is like a weighing scale. Most people won't bother helping if there is nothing in it for them. Why should a random stranger spend 2-3 hours of his time to help me with a coffer key? True, you could (and should, perhaps) always ask higher levels in your LS, but because of the fickle and casual recruitment of people, half the time nobody really knows each other well enough. Every once in a while there will be a new member in my LS asking me for help with some random thing. It's like they assume that by virtue of being in the same LS, that it is the high-lvl'ers duty to babysit the low-lvl'ers through every single quest and mission. I barely know you, what makes your help request any different from a random stranger in Jeuno who /waves at me like I'm some sort of long lost buddy (before asking for help, of course)?
