i almost 45 and my pts dont seem to be fighting any of the enemies that will drop the lvl 50 cap items
do i have to ask them to fight these enemies or would i have to form a pt just to get those items?

At 45 you'll have a chance to start fighting those enemies.

(Except explosure, which you'll have to join a PT specifically to fight them. Don't worry though, that item is almost 100% drop)

Lich is for 47+, or 45 if you travel all the way thru Ragumont (very far but it is delicious)...

Exoray is doable at 45+, but make sure your mages are prepared for the silent gas... Super deadly :mad: ...

Bomb it's the easiest... All it takes is couple tell to people who have done it.

Thats tough.. it would have been so nice to get the exoray item while leveling, I saw 2 but didn't get either...

well my char isn`t on Rag but I would rant too..lol

I got my Lich item at level 48, lucky enough that time I got high lot, but it doesn`t matter since after that pt, I saw a lot of it drops..sometime noone even needed it anymore..lol
now the exoray one....it is hard drop, but I got lucky with one PT that spent 3-4 hours killing exoray...in the end we all got the items...it even dropped 2 times in a row once :D

if the day has any effect...i saw a lot of drops of exoray item at ice day...
anyway, i got all items, finished the quest, now level 51 XD

Also not on Rag, but I too would like to find the guy who programed drop rate and punch him in the throat. I was in a 45 levelling up PT in Crawlers Nest (hate that place..) and we killed 5 Exorays, and got 3 drops within 3 hours. I didn't win any of the lots though TT. Last night I was in a levelling up PT that went through Rangemount to Eldieme. In about 3 hours we got 4 Lich items, 3 of us only needed it since the other half was Rank6 w. We even got the treasure chest too and the Scythe (lost that lot too :sweat: ) 6-12 hours with a treasure hunting PT? Ouch~ I'm sure you had a thief with Treasure Hunter 2? That's really odd and I would be just as annoyed/pissed with those kind of results. It seems you get the rare drops when you aren't looking for it.. TT Oh, btw once you get all the items and break the lvl50 cap does that apply to all you jobs? I'm guessing so since the Rank6 ppl were all saying ƒpƒXw!

In all honesty I think you guys were just really lucky

The drop rate seemed to be 1 per 2 hours for exoray and lich item, which is what most people who helped said it was for them. I think more than 1 an hour is extremely rare. Maybe its different on different servers?

I am nearing LV49 and still in search of Papi item from Lich. I have gone to hunt for this item 5 times and have come away empty :mad: The last couple of trips have been the worst. 4 days ago, everyone in my PT got a Papi except me (Lot #s of 7, 39, 130). I asked for a quit since it was 4:30AM and I had to work that day. Yesterday was an almost. I heard a shout from a PT asking if anyone needed a Papi. I replied. By the time this PT found me and and I joined this PT to Lot, the Papi was gone TT.

This is so damn frustrating. I want to kill the Square programmer. I have the other 2 BTW.

I think it's been changed since the level 55 cap days or is plain random. When Cain amd Ceis were getting their Exoray item, it took what seemed around like 7 hours for just 2 drops. We also killed all Exorays possible, exactly as they popped, because no other party was hunting them in Crawler's nest.

I think they kinda change all the drop ratio around...
I went into a exoray PT, and all 3 guys got theirs in 3 hrs... But for lich I have tried for 3-4 PTs and I have only seen papi 3 times... I lost all the roll..
Went with my LSmate, and still come back empty handed in 2hrs...

I gave up trying to get people to eldieme since I died so many times in there... TT went to nest, killing these K beetle, and at the meantime trying to get exoray for our lv47 whm, and the 3rd drop... I should not have bothered to join a PT specified for exoray...

I finally got tis supreme pain in the ass Papi item. Since I suck at lotting, I was in a PT that decided to award Papi by the order u entered the PT. Luckily, I was #2. After my PT disbanded, I stayed to make sure the other 2 in my previous got their Papi as well. This took another 6 hours:sweat:
