Excuse me while I rant.

I want to know what genius at square thought up this incredibly rare yet incredibly necessary item. I just got back from a 6 hour party that turned up a whopping 2 drops. Since 5 people needed the item, the chances of getting it weren't very high. What frustrates me more is I thought the party would stay until everyone got it; Instead, it disbands as if it were any leveling party, no conversation to reorganize another attempt for the 3 going away empty handed after 6 hours. So what now, I'm forced to make another party and suffer undoubtly the same luck with another group? How long can this continue? The question is rhetorical. I have never been more pissed at a video game.

Anyway... I'm done with the ranting. I have 60k gil. I know its nothing, but if a couple of veterans would like to help me get the lich item, I'd be very happy to split it among those who help. I'll continue looking for shouts in Jueno, but if my bad luck expectedly continues, maybe we can organize a little group... please give me a /tell. Thank you

After 6+ hours, they were probably pissed off too...

Exoray is worse, imho. I only landed mine through a very lucky roll. It was probably my third trip into Crawler's Next.

IIRC, the party you were with was just doing the normal thing. Obtaining item is lower in priority than leveling. If you get it, you get it. If you don't, gotta wait to come back tomorrow. I must've fought liches with a pt 5 or so times before I got my own item. lmao, it's frustrating when you get 3s on your rolls, too. Have patience and good luck.

Just to clarify, it wasn't the normal thing. Due to a lv60 in the party, we got a whole of ~100 exp in 6 hours. It wasn't a leveling party, it was specifically a papyrus get party.

Is it usual to disband without planning a get together in some future time? If people left after they lot in the item, that would suck. Isn't this the same thing? Everyone should stick it out until everyone gets it ><

6hrs is a good amount of time... So I dun think you should blame how they disband... Everyone needs sleep and food and stuff... And yeah normally they will NOT plan to have the same guys together for next time... They will shout again tomorrow if they are logged, and if your there then you get to join again... GL...

I believe lich is the hardest to get, so I am gonna force my lvl up PT to do lich all the time.. whahahaha~ exoray seems to drop alot more I heard. Anyway class now... cya~

From Lv47~51, I've seen:

Exorays' item [2]
Lich's item [6] or [7]
Exploure [4]*
*I don't know if it's a 100% drop, killed 4 times, everytime it dropped for us

It's completely random. Before I was in the PT hunting for normal exp. About 3 Lich items dropped in maximum of 6 hours. Glad I won the last one before PT leaves that night. Exoray's also the rarest one IMO.

Gives it more time, try join the trip in Low.Jeuno or even form one by yourself. You were just out of luck.

Thanks for letting me vent all. Thanks very much to Takato and several Japanese players, I got the Lich item after only about 12 hours of hunting total. Not a big deal now that I look back.. Now on to the Exoray

Lich item is one of the 3 items that are needed to break the barrier of lv50, aka lv50 break quest.

I also got my lich item when pt in eldieme at lv45+, and exoray item is the hardest, it took me many tries along with Densetsu to get it. And the last exoray that we fought drop me the item. The bomb item is very easy, sub bst and tame a bat in Garlaige command the bat to kill explosure (stand far away) since it might explode...I got the bomb item on my first explosure
