I recieved this email the day I got the notice from Square about my account, could I get a quick translation please m(_ _)m

Thats what it says, March payment is missing. The service will be suspended the last day of this month. After service is suspended, pay the amount noted and once the payment is acknowledged by Playonline, your service will be restored.

Once someone get suspended how many months will left till the ID get deleted from POL server?2 months or 3?

Ive read on the US POL.com site, that once your cancel your account, you have 3 months to recover your Content ID. But I dont know if the same applies to the japanese database.

If it's three months then i got (1month and 15 days) left so i still got a chance to revive it.

You're lucky max. When everyone else got their warning it was like 3 days before the month ended and we never had time to figure out all this up the sleeve stuff that you're doing right now. Seems like you got a whole month to try to save your account. Hopefully you'll be the first one to break this plague. Of course you have the 3 months after you get deactivated to think of more stuff as well but your options get severally get cut to nothing

Its the same, 3 months. You can potentially still save it.

what is the convienience store suppose to help you in paying the bill? A friend of mine had his card expire, worse is his new card is a new number due to the old company merging or something. He has sent Square-Enix a check and a note explaining but they would not accept it. They would not accept any other form of payment other then the original credit card. We have friends in Japan so how would physically going to a convienience store help?

I am confused as to what a convienience store is in Japan I guess...

-_- I guess I explain again. The Japanese credit system is different than the American one. When you go in debt in America you can just pay it off with another CC (which technically gets you in even more debt. This system is evil) In Japan it is not like that. They send a statement to your address that you provided and you fill out the necessary paperwork required and you drop it off at key locations in Japan (ex. convenient stores). POL gets your address from the one you filled out when you first registered your name. Of course if you were importer and never lived in Japan the address was totally bogus. So the statement never gets sent and you can’t really do shit. Especially when POL locks up so you don’t even have the option to change your address or CC# again.

I decided to call JP POL services. Of course I tried English first and that didn’t help what so ever. Didn’t have one English speaker. Even if they did it wouldn’t have helped anyway because we got a JP friend who lives in Japan to call POL for us. He explained the situation to them and all POL said was that you must pay off your debt first before you can reactivate your account. This “debt� situation was kinda weird.

When this happened to me there was no “debt� from POL. I even walked into the bank myself and they said there were no charges from Playonline or anything else at all. (perfect credit). For Elite his charge did show up but it was just shown in a mass quantity of debts. Pretty much he had to pay off all his debt or something (which was around a few hundred dollars I think) but it still didn’t even fix it. Not 100% sure on his situation but he had to start over as well.

I don’t think Playonline US will help you at all. I think they are both completely different branches. I doubt they even have your information on file.

For new people who are on NA version: No if you miss a payment this won’t happen to you. You can just punch in a new CC# and keep on playing. (A bunch if people freaked out on the last few topics about this)

Once this debt is payed off, then your given the oprutinity to change the CC info and fix your account.

How sick am I.. I actually considered taking a holiday to Japan just to pay off my frickin bill. It took me a few hours to realize "Wtf am I doing?!" :sweat:

OK.. now i am jsut a little pissed off.

I went back over my bank statements, and what did i come to find, that Square billed my account for the month of march and the month of april. now the question is... if i had a Credit card problem, why the hell did the charge go through???

I am seriously now ot the point where i am about to just sya fuck it to the whole thing...
