We still have a long way to go and denying that we got help from others on KB is just ignorant. Not that we would have defintely lost without it, but it only helped us, so we should be grateful. Remain confident, but shun arrogance. Our loss to Byakko should prove this point, as no one really had much to say after that.

You can't win an argument with speculation ("Some LS would have done it with x number of people, blah blah blah.") The patch has made KB and other HNMs much more difficult and has forced LSs to alter strategies. Without a doubt in my mind, we shouldn't bask in this victory (as some of us seem to be doing). Much has been said, much has been 'zung', but in retrospect, this thread was kinda pointless, as it all could have been summed up in three words...

You know the only hard part of this fight really is meteo and it's effect on the following people:

Koda, Orts, Gatts, Atrox, Laquincain

Orts Gatts and Cain are the runners, we're OK until 2 of them die, then we got a bit to worry about but it's still OK.
Koda and trox are the gravitiers, we're OK until both of them die, then we got a bit to worry about but it's still OK.

If all 5 are dead at the same time, THEN we lose. That never happened.

People die left and right all the time in king behe, it's normal. It's part of the fight process. If you don't believe me I even got a video clip Blizz shot of Juventus eating it 2000000 times... BEFORE the enhance patch.

The extra heals from outsiders would be like someone healing you outside your level-up party. Hell next time I'll walk up to your levelup party, heal you a bit then say "dude you suck you can't even level up without outside help"

The runners were given the following instructions: When you see meteo, priorities are:

1) shout warning
2) get away from other people so you don't get a whole bunch of people killed
3) get yourself to a safe location

#2 was a higher priority than #3. Seeing another person standing somewhere simply makes it harder for the person it's being cast on to get away.

Also, I'm sure there has to be at least 2 or more times when the cure hate from outsider healing made king behe cast meteo on someone outside of the alliance, who didn't run away because he didn't think to. It doesn't matter who he casts on, once he casts it, the radius is huge.

As with the subs... taunt is useless for PLD. Don't know if you knew this, but king behe has triple attack, and the added effect of his normal hits is stun, which means you can't move or do any shit for like 5 seconds. To get around this, the runners (called runners cuz they gotta keep fscking moving) try not to get hit. Also, if you run out of range of meteor when it's being cast on you, your hate is reset. Gee, there goes your taunt.

Outside help gives good stuff with the bad... I'd say it evens out. As about the number of people we used... that's our own business. Hideaki solo'd serket, no one else can say anything.

Our first battle we lost, we had like 21 pple. 2nd battle, we had like 25++. and Gatts did not go down that whole battle. ya, we had too many pple out there in the open. So more death would be expected. Maybe its good to have only one pt out there.

be it 18 pple or 25 pple, with more pple, u can kill k.behe faster. with less pple and the right jobs, the battle will be more controlled but it will be longer battle.

BTW, have u heard of Juven taking K.Behe head on. Meteo damage is spread out by the number of pple, just like saboten needles. So, go figure different way.

LS dun function by only calling 18 pple to take on K.Behe. If more pple log in, we just call them to come and help out. we started the battle with 21 and ended up with more pple. If there as only 18 pple online, we would have done the same and took it on. It is the experience of the fight that matters.

If pple see this thread as a brag, well that cant be controlled. It as posted to show that NA HNM LS is possible. It may be targeted at some pple, I dun know really care. This Ragnarok thread is so boring. No info, it has nothing ........ So here we(NA and importers) are, just posting something that happens on Ragnorak. Whats wrong with it?

Regarding the thanks to those people who help. Personally, I dun like those helps. (no offense to those). Becos for HNM Hunting, other HNM LS would not like this. It is unfair, IMO. But what is done is done. Cheers!
