In Sand'Oria checking AH yesterday and a player I belive if memory serves called Kesen. Prehaps i'm incorrect so do not go sending tells based on this please (This post is about people like what im about to describe in general)
This person was shouting at a rate of aruond 8 shouts per minuite which is frankly staggering.
Someone was shouting auctioning "Anyone want Regen 3?"
He replied "ME ! ME !"
The person evidently received some begging tells from this person and reshouted
"Anyone want to BUY regen 3?"
To which this guy shouted
"Hey U said U were giving it away!"
Then proceeded to harass in shouts this point. Next he is back to shouting meaningless rubbish to what I deem was his friends?
Eventually people tell him to quieten down, he responds badly...once with "shut up bitch" to me.
He sends a tell saying "j/k"
I told him after another few mins of this palava if you dont quite shouting and cursing ill call a GM. What followed was a torrent of the most badly spelt abuse I have ever seen.
He even said "I bet ur a old persun" Well...whoopie doo. Cretin i'm 25 actually i'm just tired of watching cretins like you shooting your mouth off like a 5 year old.
These people need to learn some game etiquette and realise that people don't want to see every thought on their mind in shout and certainly don't want to see their cursing.
Maybe he was roleplaying a village idiot with tourettes? What I DO know is a friend of mine who recently started was concerned with the language and conduct of the players in FF as opposed to other online games.
I do hope the cretins like this get weeded out sooner rather than later. Further more, if you sit cursing in the city in full view of everyone you can bet your backside I will notify a petition after the first few curses.
I can accept a couple of curses, everyone is guilty of losing it and shouting a curse or two now and again, but i will not stand by and watch someone shoot their mouth off for long. It's not approriate and not wanted.
And for those that say "Turn on the swear filter". No I won't, the EULA states behaviour like this is not allowed. These people need to learn to behave or get out.
