Zodiac, i can't help you since I'm in HK. I wonder if there is a way to change the CC info? Zodiac and others, have you recently changed credit card info? Canceled a CC, etc.? My credit card expires in April and I hope that they don't give me a new number

You can't change CC information???? AFter i obtained my debit master just 1month plus ago, i was able to change my CC from the old master card to the current debit master card. Are you sure you are unable to change CC information? Just incase you are wondering, i am using the import version.

Your account has to be up to date and active in order to change any personal or payment information...
Otherwise, you are locked out of the Service and Support system, forcing you to contact S-E directly and provide proof of identity...

...by the time most people get this far...it's too late..

Xiph, that pic you posted is also the same thing I had before. It's basically saying thats the month you have missed your payment and now in debt. On top it says you can pay by convenient method or so. Thats just sort of a review or reminder. 1554 yen is around 11.95 im not sure exactly but close enough. 11.95 is only one month's payment. Your missed the month of January payment, so you had about 2 months to do something about it but you probably didnt know.

S-EX dont send you bills every month, they only send it to you when they can no longer charge your credit card and they have no choice but to send a company bill sent to your home. How else would you pay the debt if you think about it. This is what lady told me long ago, not sure if policies changed now

Rahx you still have JP version? I thought you switched dawg. I dont know when my CC runs out..I forgot which one I used. I probably will switch in a few days or weeks due to this slight problem. I hate to waste away Johnny or Zan. If this does happen, I will start over with new Mithra and be teh cool thief again!

So, we can move our JP characters over to NA version without problems? *runs to store to buy EN version*

XD any idiot can make a 75 BRD in 3 months. There is already another NA 75 BRD and he didn’t even have game experience like me and most other NA BRDs are already in the uppers 60s.

Anyway there’s no way to save your accounts so don’t waste your time and stress out over it. Elite, Dart, and I researched it for over 5 weeks until we finally gave up and started over in NA version. For people who don’t understand how it works here’s the explanation:

The Japanese credit system is different than it is in America. In America you can just pay off debt with getting yourself in even more debt (paying off credit card debt with another credit card) but Japan isn’t like that. What Japan does is when you ever have debt they send a statement to your address that you fill out and drop off at key locations in Japan. Thus having a fake address and not living in Japan = screwed.

The only way you could possibly get out of this situation is if you could find a friend that lives in Japan who was willing to give you their address and pay off your debt if you send money to them or something. The bad thing about POL is that you get the warning like 48 hours before your account gets suspended so it doesn’t leave you much time. I’m sure a lot of other people are having this same problem too but maybe not posting. Here’s a few things:

-You cannot enter POL to change your address or anything after it gets suspended
-Don’t bother calling. Not only do they not have any English speakers at POL Japan but even if they did they would tell you exactly what I’m telling you to do which would be to pay off the statement they send to your address. We even got a JP friend to call for us to possibly change our address or if we could pay off the debt in any other form of payment but they said it was not possible.
-Trying POL North America may work in fixing your accounts but I SERIOUSLY doubt it. POL NA is WAY different than POL JP. They probably don’t even have your account info on file if you call the NA POL support #. Even if they did, I doubt they could do anything about it until you paid off your debt and there’s only 1 way to do that in Japan.
-I wouldn’t recommend giving up so easily cause now you have more options before until what I had with POL NA but I wouldn’t spend more than a week on it.

It sucks loosing your account cause I know how it feels but you guys are a little more fortunate than I. My main job was a White Mage and 95% of my money was invested into spells. Raised 2 for 620k, Erase for 400k, and every single WHM spell from 1-63 which adds up to almost 2 million gil at that time. The only stuff I got to sell was my crappy whm equipment which was like 2 electrum rings and mp+3 earrings which gave me a total of like 100k to start over with. You cannot save or sell spells ; ; Blackice, Herodrink, and Darick have all melee jobs so most of your money should have been invested into equipment anyway which you can just sell back. I know a few exceptions like Herodrink who bought Absorb-Dex for like 550k but you guys should be ok money wise.

Not everyone feels the same but id recommend starting over even after loosing your characters. Seymoure was clocked at about 1,500 hours when he got deactivated but I still started over anyway. Honestly I found it fun to start over. I was a new sex, new race, started in a new country, and leveled a brand new job. I had a blast really even leveling with all the damn NA people. I knew exactly what to fight, where to fight, what to do, how to do it in every single situation I was in. I freaking got Rank5 at level 18. If it took you 8 months to get your drk from 1-70 then it’s going to take you 4 months this time. 4 months is not really much time if you think about if you’ve already been playing for almost 2 years like most people anyway.

Don’t forget it’s easy to level up now even if you’re a job that no one wants. When we played during “normal” United States hours before there were like a total of 1 person on invite and like 1-2 parties in progress in any level range. Now there’s like 20+ people on invite and like 5-10 parties in progress in any level range now during our “normal” hours. So there’s no more waiting around for like 4 hours until JP people actually started to wake up to go play with us now. You’ll always get in a PT and you can and should always make your own anyway. If you make a party you know you’ll be the best leader possible. No NA can beat the experience you have and you can probably double if not triple your exp if you make your own PTs everytime by inviting the right jobs that can renkei together and fighting the right things in the right area which you should know about.

Well I’m off and I wish your 3 good luck. I wouldn’t mind power ranking you or anything so just give me a /t. I know what’s it’s like to start over and I wish more people helped me when I did but they were too busy hunting HNMs >< I’m usually not in a PT/Doing anything from like 2pm est until 7pm est so I can help during then unless I get some early JP invite like I usually do sometimes~

EDIT: oh 1 more thing. If you all want to keep your characters for the next few years I’d recommend just starting over in NA now before you get too far ahead. There will always be some CC problem out of your reach and you’ll never find out until it’s too late. Even if it’s an honest mistake like the money never transferred through when it should have, your situation wont be any different from these people here. There’s like 10 people on this very forum alone who have had this CC issue. God knows how many other JPs have had it for no facking reason what so ever but they can do something about it unlike everyone else. Machines are never perfect and JP POL FUCKING SUCKS AND I HATE IT SO MUCH. k
