So true, but at other times, there is a large D difference in between Lv requirements for SOME weapons. Take for example the lv47 and lv49 Scythes, compared to the lv30 one, the lv47 does not have THAT much more D, but the 49 has almost 20 D more and adds massive attack up (Think i saw your name in seller histroy for this one Awn )so some people may just be holding out for a while so they don't waste their gil.
And its not always about gil you know, some of the best gear, esp for late lv40+ is AF, and that requires extra quests that CANNOT be done w/out high lv friends, which some people (namely me), do not have
But what I have seen, and is totally not aceptable, is people in the high 40s having lv17 lizard gear or lv45 rdm w/ beetle gear (I don't wanna name names, but I had to lend some outdated CQ lv30 gear just so PT would accept him) . Gear isnt THAT expensive, so ya, outdated gear is totally not acceptable:mad:

but I see a LOT of importers nowaday (meleers who don't upgrade their equipment, etc) who don't care about how well the perform, they just wanna hop into a party and level. I don't care if archer rings are expensive, or if a certain spell is too hard to get... it's your duty to take time off and not level until you get it. Yes, I know equipment starts to get really expensive starting the 50's... deal with it how you like, but have it all.

N e ways....I don't know n e Japanese and no one seems to complain about it....I am even in a all JP ls, got accepted into a HNM LS called WhirlingWind and even talked to one of the leaders of MasterMind about letting me in....what now?

People should really heed this advice. Language barriers pose very little problem if you know how to play the game. If you are a melee, keep your equipment up to date, keep your skills maxed and know your renkei. If you are a mage make sure you have appropriate equipment for your role, keep your spells up to date and more importantly know your role.

After that, you've just got to learn what monsters you should be fighting and a couple of phrases to get you in and out of parties smoothly. Nobody will complain about partying with you if you keep your senses about you and play the game properly.

This site is here to help you play, use it as much as possible. We could reel off a huge list of things you should or should not do in this topic, but it still won't be enough. Check out the huge backlog on this board and learn all you can about the game. If you don't know about monster levels, linking, aggro, hate, renkei and magic burst by the time you are level 20, something needs addressing.

Ever since I started leveling Paladin I've had the same couple noobs following me around for parties. Not to mention all their parties they drag me into are about 5 tanks and a WHM. I can't count how many times I've died on their account. Neither can I count the number of times I've explained Renkei/macros/party ettiquete to them. Seriously guys, I mean DAMN! Come on!
