Was just thinking the same. The puppetmaster didn't do a thing the whole fight. Basically seems like a Dragoon minus the polearm. But BLU does look badass.

some abilities... i wonder if beetle's evasion or something like a kickass healing wind... could allow you to tank.. though healing wind prolly, if ever, should only work on urself, like chakra i guess

They already said Pup would have more then one usable puppet type so it's not going to be like Drg. I see it being more like a Smn then anything, as the Pup themselves don't seem to be able to melee effectively unlike Drg or Bst.

BLU is quite impressive. Don't know if he's really tanking or just not receiving damage..

PUP shows no abilities but I think its premeditated (?). I mean that they want to keep the mistery for this job until release.. At least, I hope so

That is interesting that they never used any self-abilities, only damage dealing. (Unless I missed it) I sure hope there are some abilities to give the option of tanking.

ohh, i think in the blu demo video, it does maelstorm. the kraken special attack.
-_- you would think that giving it infinite hp in the demo, they could atleast give it spell interrupt down 100%.

not new, mandagoras do that to you. its called wild oats. it gives a vitality down effect.
