Not really, there's one on the market right now on sale for about 45$ if you're not looking for wireless you could get one from ebay for cheaper I'm sure. If you give me a bit, I'll hook you up with the one I use. (not give, but give you the model)

Thanks InuTrunks. I'll go do a bit of research. I was switching ISP and decided to call my new ISP to see what comes with my modem. It seems there's a wireless router packaged with it, but maybe I heard wrong *shrugs* I'm moving from a business class DSL with 2 static IP addresses to a residential with 1 dynamic IP address. I save nearly 70% and gain almost double the line speed. Weird ...

Don't get one from the company, it's horrible, you'll end up paying like 250$ for a 50$ router.

It's free, so even if it was a junk, it didn't cost me a dime.

I'd assume they expect the business line to be using more bandwidth overall hosting a website or something similar.

You would think. I think the ISP I was with was just ripping me off. They were charging $150 for 1 static IP and 1.5/768 ... even if I don't have a static IP, 3.0/768 for $30 is way better IMO (Plus there are ways to circumvent the need for a static IP anyway)
