I wish we had more players like you Theyaden. On both Ramuh and Lakshmi, I've run into high levels that will kill everything except worms even when they know lowbies are leveling on the hill (I'm never anon when a lowbie and they do check me). I probably wouldn't have a problem with them farming there if they stuck to the middle level where Carnero actually pops but these farmers come down to the first level and interfere with everyone's exp.
I used to try a polite /tell asking them if they could move up a level if they're after the NM or to switch to the hill in North Gustaberg if they were just regular farming since it was rarely used for exp. My requests were usually met with "STFU n00b" although there would be the rare player nice enough to leave exp mobs to us lowbies.
And Sodo, if you're going after Sheepskins for Sheep Leather, try cutting a deal with the lowbies if you do happen to go to Vomp Hill. I once had a high level follow me around for a week while I leveled my lowbie jobs that let me do his farming for him. He only killed anything that linked onto me so I'd live and I sold him my goblin armor and sheepskin drops for a better price then the AH. The only reason I agreed to it though was because I hate unstackable drops.
