well, my main job is gonna b blm, and im gonna be a taru. but, i want to be proficient in all jobs with my little taru! (the picture of the little taru with the Ranger AF comes to mind )and, as kelenae said, stats really dont matter that much if you're a good player :p

Bardurnon did you know that you have to be a warrior to do the Dark Knight Quest, you cant do the quest having theif as your main. You have to have Warrior as your main Job. Ok just to let you know and any one else.

Ninja turtle I'm not having Thief as my main job i'm having Dark Knight and alternating between subjob of Thief and Warrior so I can use Taunt or Deceiving Attack when in PTs.

Vagtark, yea I knew that that's why I am goin Warrior at 18 so I can train that up too to level 30 then do Dark Knight.

Need more reasons come on!

let see this job combo

THF/WAR lv15 with Sword
- have Red Lotus WS with Stab Back that maybe as good as used by WAR
- can Taunt and have Def UP Passive Ability. But since THF have low VIT so Taunt is not usefull for THF even you have high AGI but with Hard monster you are rarely get evade attk too

THF/MNK lv15 use Kunckle
- Have Combo WS with Stab Back Ability and Tameru (sorry dont know how can type in Eng Langauge :sweat: ). This is the most Popular Combo Ending (like Fast Blade > RedLotus > Stab Back+Tameru+Combo)
- Most of THF will use MNK as subjob for powerfull WS

another example
PLD/WAR LV50
- higher STR HP VIT good as tanker
- have many WAR ability to access like Berserk(STR up DEF down),
Taunt etc. (also War DEF up STR down ability)


PLD/WHM LV50
- lower STR HP VIT but have more MP than PLD/WAR
- can use CureGa with Sign of Goddess (healingx2)
CureGa + Sign of Goddess is very usefull. you can Taunt Monster by use this magic combo too And help your WHM in PT spend less MP
- Have more MND that make Cure more effective

last one
DRK/WAR LV60
- many thing like PLD/WAR LV50 greate STR HP VIT
- but many DRK ability make them get die easily like raise STR lower DEF (damn high) and spend HP as they attack power so DRK are not 1st Taunter (anyway will hate you by your attack power and turn on to you :sweat: )

DRK/WHM LV60
- ok i know this combo seem very useless but they have whm spell to access too (DRK are not good in blm spell even they can use it but it seem very useless to use attack magic. leave that role to BLM or RDM is better)
- like PLD more MP and can use CureGa+Sign of Goddess
- They can use Raise with Tractor. (but Raise is whm 1st job :p and WHM56 have Raise2 too)

DRK/THF LV60
- Damn Greate WS COMBO! Stab Back and Deceving Attack with DRK ability.
- low HP, VIT, STR than DRK/WAR

any way i dont tell that PLD/WHM better than PLD/WAR or THF/MNK better than THF/MNK
it depend on how you use it and making PT.

I was thinking about a:

Male Elvaan: Paladin/Warrior

High attack and vitality (kind of a tank, actually) with the ability to use spells such as Cure4 or Holy on higher levels (not much behind the wht mage in terms of learning).

A nice rapier sword would do also

For my first ones im gona have Warrior then when posible get red mage, im gona focus on DK/PAL/WAR/RM should make for a fun time!!!
