Blue mage sets; let the rush begin!

Hi everyone! I am way too busy atm to start editing sets to make some interesting blue mage outfits, but maybe some of you have the time/are willing to do it!

It would be nice to have some shiny sets, use your imagination, even just modifying regular armors into some great blueish colors and pattern could be nice ^^

Let the editing begin! :D

By the way, keep in mind the melee side of BLU when you make them, to make em look the part XD (Oh and im female elvaan, if you feel like making sets i can use ^^)

Right off my mind, im thinking the baron set would be nice in blue patterns, and well, maybe something with the centurion, or the RDM's JSE lvl 72ish which i dont remember the name, or hmmm... Maybe a mix of stylish stuff like the Koenig's or crimson set :p

Anything will do though, im just looking for stuff that would make my BLU look more blue lol

Old thread that everyone ignored but, is anyone willing to make custom blue mage armor .dats for the equips we can use? Itd be nice to see some of the stuff you guys could come up with, or anything you've already done =)

Sadly i cant get VRS to work on my comp so i have to ask you guys :p

I'm only any good at texture editing, but that seems like it'd be enough. What equipment do you use often that you wish was more bluey? I'll see what I can come up with.

Alrighty ^^ Well, i just got the cerise doublet, and its red, so its totally not fitting for blue mage lol, a deep blue would be pretty nice with some silver/gold linings :D And hmmm, iono, just anything that would be nice by your taste since i can swtich any armor to be the cerise doublet lol

Some armors that would be nice to see in a blue version would be...humm...Royal knight's aketon would probably be very nice in a rich blue hue, and hum...Maybe RDM AF2 would be nice with more goldish shoulders and a still deep blue for the red parts, and and and...maybe Iggira weskit might be nice with blue tattoos... and maybe for the last possiblility, a more blueish tone for the Jaridah peti, since its prolly an armor ill use for a very long time =)

I know ive set a lot of possibilities, but feel free to only make the one/ones you want ^^

Haha that's a lot of requests. Some good ideas though. I'll give it a look. Since it's pretty much just color changing it should be quick and easy.

Eh, I'll do all of em for fun. It's super easy, and if I find one that's not it'll be a good learning experience.

I'm playing with Cerise first. I was far too lazy making my selections so I'll have to redo it, but you can see where it's going. The leather parts that still look tan here I'm going to turn blue-black. Is the silver trim good for you, or do you prefer more gold?

I'll mess with it some more this evening.

Weee!! Thats pretty nice ^^ Id love to see it with goldish linings yeah, silver makes it a bit less richy You know, i just had an idea, i wonder if you could put a kinda rough dragon head sign in the middle of the chest instead of that kinda half circle, thatd make it more beasty :D Oh and if its possible could you make the blue a tad darker? Itd add a bit of hum...its hard to say but...some volume or something to the material lol

Oh you mean the double snake thing? The mark of zahak? I think I can, but only because it's symmetrical. Lucked out there.

I had a perosn ask me to make a soorta "blue mage verm" since its always worn almsot.
I did a mithra one as a test.. never got around to make a hume male one he wanted... heh

Here you go. Spent longer than I thought but I'm pretty happy with it other than how stretched the Mark looks. Not much to be done about it; it's really that stretched.

Blue duelist body is coming along. The shoulder guards aren't quite the right color yet, and I'd like to put the snake on them, but I'll have to redo the specular map or it'll look funny. Not sure if I can do that right. Anyway, I think I'm done working on it for today.

Pretty good work though, Taskmage. I do mourn the lack of blue colored gear in this game as it is, so this is some fun stuff to see.^^

O.M.G. Thats is AWESOME Taskmage!! REALLY great job! I love the sign, and i loooooooooooove the duelist! /praise! I cant wait to see the finished version with the sign on the shoulder armor pieces x.x /anticipation XD!!
