Heh, no big intro to this.
Intro
Hmm, bout 2 years ago, I became interested in fixing up FFXI's GUI. The things that came out of this were things like custom window mods to better looking icons.
Out of anything in FFXI, I like modifying the GUI the most.
Sad thing is, I was making a progress until a year ago when I stopped.
So thats what these shots are for. Sure, the shots are recent, but the work is a year old lol.
Hmm, first thing I will show you is the HP and MP bar. If you look at mine, its red and blue which I thought would be the default for FFXI anyways, but wasn't >,>.
Next is the region info section. I replaced the nation icons with higher quality icons that I did in PS. Now they have that high rez glossy looking feeling
I also modified the nation icons for search and many other things like LS list. You cannot really tell unless you have good eyes, but those icons are higher resolution. The reason why it is a light blue color when I highlight over a person is because of my blue window theme that I did a long time ago.
I also changed the Flist status icons. I gave the FFXI graphic a blue color. Its supposed to match my blue window theme.
The casting time bar will fill up with red now instead of the default color.
Unfortunately, I don't have any more shots to show. I had a couple more things I did to the GUI that needs to be shown, but alas, I forgot to replace those files.
Release
I guess in the next big mod uploading day for my site. Don't know when that will happen. Maybe this weekend, maybe next, or so on hehe. RFOnline has my attention when I have free time so if the servers come back up by this weekend, I won't upload nothing to the site. It will be RFO > Updating my site > FFXI modding.
On second thought, just wait until I finish what I need to finish xD. I'll show some more shots another time, for now, I leave you with this. ETA, March.
