that happen i will personally bake and mail you cookies >.>

    Re: Idle pose..

Ive done this and Ive done this often. The only problem that I have is this:

During gameplay, if you have weapons equipped while idle, they will drop to the ground....kinda like they do in MV.

    That gets kinda aggravating.

But, how did you switch them in MV and not in game? If you switched the .dat files, it SHOULD show up in game. Also, to get it to work properly, when you look at the log in the bottom, right hand corner of the screen while looking at the PC's mithra, when you get to the idle pose, it will show 3 .dat files. Switch the second file with the NPC idle .dat and it should work. BUT be warned....it only works with characters that are the exact size AND model.

      Re: Idle pose..

cut and copy from a previous post explaining what i got goin on (i never listed the dat's switched ><)

i now have 4 idle poses...
      id1
      idl
      idlA
      idlB

in game im still only doing the normal position... i think...hips kinda movin a tiny bit..

i wanted to idle with the hand on the hip, which shows in MV as id1

      /sigh suggestions?

EDIT: actually its kinda funny, im standin in lower jueno shakin my money maker a bit lol, not what i was goin for though

EDIT: upon further inspect, what i seem to have is

      A. I wanted what is now showing as id1, idlA is the original normal idle stance
idl and idlB combine to make a slightly swanning stance, what i have in game now is just the lower body swanning, with the upperbody same as normal.

Oh and this was a tip posted by another modder that i used

Replace .DAT 93 instead of 89
so basically, in game in doing the bottom half of a different idle pose, my hips swing but my arms don't (as can be seen in one of the other idl's listed), and it only works with some of the armors (i.e. with dragon leggings equiped i have the normal still idle pose..)

im all confused now but i want this to WORK! so im lookin for a lil assistance plz

That was me telling you that, and forgot to mention theirs probably about 8 "idle" positions for mithra in total, only 1 looks normal when idle but looks strange when running, best one I found was using the mithra for NPC missions where she does a hip shake.
.DAT idle changes take effect when you change zones, it will not change like gear swapping stuff.

i knew it was u hehe, and yes ive noticed that running seems a lil weird but i can handle it as it is now with the hip shake which is what i have.

Is it not possible to have this hand on hip idle stance in game? bcuz its the one i want

Its possible, but as I said the running (and possibly other motions) are messedup because the "only" hip stance (without the rump shake motion) has no run animation... so you run with your hand on the hip which looks very odd.

Just noticed your on caitsith btw, thats my original server about 1 and a half years ago

              =P

ok i didnt realize the hand would still be on the hip running... that would look pretty stupid.
Maybe im better off just shakin my mithran ass =P (and every other mithra i see >.>)
