I was using a older one and the Imagery for experiance up (Devotion) was showing up as a crafting Imagery. I saw on the website that it was addressed. Need to download new one.

How do you get exp up imagery? If you mean exp bonus from Empress bands, I'm using this Icon pack and the icon for Exp bonus is like HP or MP Regen, except it says EXP.

These are AWESOME!! Once I finally get to play on the PC instead of the PS2 I'm going to use these.

I'd probably alter the Phalanx one. I'd like to see a Shield for that one. I would have used something else for some of them. But those look really nice.

I know I've confused Regen and Refresh in the past. Then suddenly wondering why my MP isn't raising. lol This would prevent the rare occasion that it happens. But there some times I see those generic status icons and wonder what the heck it is.

They work like a charm still. You just have to copy the file again after you updated.

This has been updated to fix some issues and update some icons. The zip is attached.

Here are the patch notes:

Hi, I'm Kuro!
Better known as "Skyangel" on Cerberus or "Lazureus" on some forums!

This is an update to Faranim and mine's status icon replacements.
I fixed several issues, mainly the fact that Diabolos DreamShroud
Bloodpact and Spirit Surge icons were not displaying properly.

To install it, just place this DAT into FINAL FANTASY XI\ROM\119\57.DAT
(back up your original one first!).

As well, I added a plethora of new icons to the mix... replacing
just about every (SP) 2hr icon with a unique one to that job. Details below.

Icon Replacements:
- Invincible: man of steel and shards of light.
- Astral Flow: carbuncle
- Meikyo Shisui: great katana
- Perfect Dodge: green running man icon
- Soul Voice: shining disco ball
- Mighty Strikes: muscle arm with dumbbell
- Blood Weapon: blood-dripping scythe
- Hundred Fists: red version boost with "SP" written
- Plague: red version of disease
- Phalanx: shining rainbow shield (imitating in-game effect more)
- Cover: silvery shield with design
- Max HP/MP Boost: reddish Arrow => with half-filled HP/MP bar
- Max HP/MP Down: blueish Arrow <= with half-filled HP/MP bar

Upcoming Changes:
- EXP Icon recolor
- Custom Diabolos DreamShroud icons
- (Re)fixing Medicated/Penalty status 'background'
- "Barspell" song recolors (anticipating upcoming job updates)
- Preemptive creation of various types of icons for Aht Urghan

I just checked both http://www.livejournal.com/~faranim/ and http://lazureus.livejournal.com and they both said they are working on a new file, should be out within a day or two (/em croses fingers).

Wow i seriously never knew about those sites .. i got these 3rd hand from my girlfriend .. lol ... Ill have to bookmark and keep checking back .. untill then .. /sigh .. back to crappy colorless stupid icons .. x.x

I hope its fast .... Windower dosent even like to work properly now ... have to wait for that as well.

Using these icons really makes you appreciate how horribly designed and difficult to read the original status icons were. -_-

Seriously, Phalanx, Barblizzard, Barparalyze and Utsusemi all one icon? But you've reserved the space in memory for four copies of that identical icon? What kind of retardedness is that? Is my blink up? I dunno, I've got three icons that look like blink! Lemme tab through them ... oh wait I'm dead! Guess it was down.
