Can anyone please explain Moghancements?

Can I only have one active at a time?

If so, how does it determine which one is active?

How do they affect Crafting? Which Moghancements correspond to which Crafts?

Do they affect Combat at all?

Do I ever NOT want a Moghancement? Are they ever a bad thing?

well i dont know mucha bout em but...

u get them thur furnishing's, they show their color, aka element in nthe bottom right

u put them in MH and whichever is the greater value thats what MH u get.

no they are never bad, all they do is reduce chances of losing items while synthing. there are oither ones which reduce xp loss when dieng.

All I can find are references to a site in Japanese, and it only appears to have a table of the different moghancements.

I just need help understanding how this all works.

Mystery Tour saves us again

The number to the right of the element is the strength of that element. Add up all the numbers of the of the elements of your furnishing and the highest one is the mogenhancement you'll get.

Experience = you lose less experience when you die. I believe it's 1% less exp lost

Fishing/Gardening = improved fishing/gardening results.

Conquest = more conquest points earned

Desynthesis = Gives you greater chances of sucess in desynthing.

Images like this mean if you use a crystal of that element you have a smaller chance of losing synth ingredients if you fail.

Region I'm not totally sure of but there is very few items with that so I wouldn't worry about it.

what does element in mog house mean?? does it have anything to do with crafting? or just planting...

the stronger the element i believe means you will have less chance to lose your ingredients/materials when you synth.

this is why once you get to working with 100k+ per material item you will want as high a specific enhancement as possible in order to avoid losing the material

To determine which Moghancement you get:
Example

Mahogany bed (Light 10) x 1
White pot (Light 5) x 3
Maple table (Earth 8) x 2
Tarutaru stool (Lightning 2) x 2

Now calculate the elements:

Light: 10 + 5 x 3 = 25
Earth: 8 x 2 = 16
Lightning: 2 x 2 = 4

So, Light is the dominant element, now to determine which moghancement you get:

Mahogany bed (light 10)
White pot (light 5)

so you get 'experience', because you only count the item on its own.

However if you happend to have elements having the same total value, then, you lose your moghancement.

The amout of you dominant element affects the text which Moogle gives you.

In Cali's example,

Mahogany bed (light 10) x 1
White pot (light 5) x 3

for a total of 25 Light, Moogle will give you a text saying you have faint Light energy.



But if you had something like,

Mahogany bed (light 10) x 9
White pot (light 5) x 3

for a total of 105 Light , Moogle will give you a text saying you have overwhelming Light engery.



My question is, what do these elements affect?

Do they affect Moghancements that you have in any way?
