You can start skilling up on potions around lvl 34. 175k could get you there if you save all the poison dust you make from levels 6-11. You then turn them into poison potions from 16-18.

Also hunt bees in giddeus and pashow for beehive chips. You will be using beeswax along the way and if you farm you'll save yourself shit piles of money.

Just out of curiosity why do you wants potions so badly?

Take hi-potions to be any use in BCNM, in my opinion.

175k will get you 3 stacks of cerment.


Make stuf you can sell, and then amount of money yous tart with won't matter as much.

OR, pick a recipe, figure you'll need to make 18-24 of that item to gain 1 full point. That's an .... OK... estimate of cost, give or take 40k. You'll gain less from recipes where you're trying to gain skill near their skill caps, but more return.

It's taking forever to Lv my Archery skill so the Bloody Bolts are junk for me, but I need something for solo'ing. Tigers in Batallia can sometimes hurt me bad, and the Tigers in Junger are way to slow (spawn time wise).

So, I need healing. Can't sub WHM 'cause I need TH.

Potions, from the recipie I saw, are killer easy/cheap to make, and possibly I can make some money off of them...

So, the Potions are for farming/solo'ing 'cause it'll be years before the damned Crossbow capped. Also Potions are cheaper, and more effective than the Bolts since Bolts can miss and take longer to shoot, better to have Potions if things get sticky.

That's why I wanted to make them, sound like a good plan?

Potions do not stack, and only heal 50 HP.

You'll find it'll hurt you to carry more, and be annoying to carry them all out. You could jsut carry stacks of the ingedients, compacting them into 1/3 the number of slots, but that still is alot of time spent synthing and a big cut in to your profits (if you'll even trun a profit after buying all that sage).

Selbina milk sells for less than 1 sage, and gives you an HP regen. I think it's stackable too.
