When you add in the cost of a stack of fire crystals, it really ammounts to only about 1000 profit. Fairly standard profit actually.

It'd be a decent moneymaker once you can avoid failures.

Just a side track note. Gold does not become profitible until Lv 52 skill or higher at least.

Many other skills can be made profitable even at low levels. I have a friend right now that has made a lot of gil from Woodworking. He lumberjacks to get compoinants.

Even blacksmithing you can mine to get componants than sell the ingots you made from mining.


Alchemy, you fight mobs to get componants to make money

And so on. All skills can be profitible at level 20 skill if you do it right. Some are more than others though of corse. Of corse Mining, lumberjacking, and killing low level mobs can get quite tedious very fast but, if you are patent with it, you can make quite a bit of gil over time.
