Hi.
I've had little trouble logging on for about 2 monthes... until today.
The following occurs (first sporadically, second continously):
1) When trying to access my friend list, it ceases downloading... and disconnects from the server. It doesn't ALWAYS do this when I try to connect, but it has happened several times.
2) I get past that, and access the game. I get to the point where you agree to follow the Liscence agreement, and it starts to load some parts. It gets to "Acquiring FFXI Server Data" and it gives me a timeout protocal error in a couple of minutes.
Though I am on a router, I have tried opening various ports (info I found). I even went as far to try it out by going into the DMZ (basically, all ports were opened). I don't think it's on my end... but I dunno what to do. Their e-mail customer service was no help, and their phone, well... perhaps I have to wait a lot longer than half an hour to get through
I'm on Siren... has anyone else had this problem today?
