    Looks good overall, but perhaps a bit too strict in some areas (prompting for first-party cookies can get annoying, and doesn't really offer much benefit), and FilterSetG should not be installed if you're using AdBlock Plus. That's what ABP's subscriptions are for (they do they same thing as FilterSetG, and they're faster).

    The purpose of the first part of the guide is to lock up IE as tight as possible and then never use it again other than for proprietary things like windows update. So, that setting shouldn't really get in your way.

    I can't comment on FilterSetG. I'm as security clueless as the next guy to be honest.

    The guide was copied verbatim from the windower forums, and I don't want to modify Aikar's work. If people want to contribute I can add a link to a discussion thread to the announcement.
