I don’t know if you already know this but all those images in the screenshot forum are probably whats bogging you down. Even if only half the posts or threads in there are images, thats still in excess of 10,000 images attached to your server. Ive been to many vbulletin boards and this has always been a problem, caused slowdown and bandwidth issues. The solution to this was to make people host there own images, there are many free image hosting site out there. It doesnt take alot of effort...

The problem with the speeds now is the number of requests that the database has to take. Right now we have about 250 users online at once, and a whole hell of a lot of requests. Once the request goes to the server than its fast.. it's just about getting that request.
We're trying to fix it.
