Will the JPs ever quit FFXI and let NA take over HNM?

I consider myself a pretty hardcore player, not b/c i'm good or anything but b/c i play alot and often >.>. Everytime my ls camps behe, aspi, nid there's always at least 1 jp ls even if it's 3am their time. It seems like no matter what time it is, if there's a chance of kb, nid, aspi popping, they will come in full force. --; I dont know how it is like in the other servers, but I believe ragnorak has the most haijin JP players. Once when it was 5am-8am JP time we had around 100 players in aery, half NA and half JP. How is it like in the other servers?

This one JP LS on my server... I swear they dont eat or sleep, have work or school.... They are at every spawn every day, sometimes with 50 people.... Then you have your NA's that are just hoping for a miracle, so ya it kinda sucks. However on Midgardsormr the top JP LS just kinda stopped camping so I hear, I guess they had everything and just got bored =/.

Final Fantasy XI isn't the "JP's only MMORPG," they have plenty. Square Enix alone has two MMOs in Japan right now, CrossGate and Final Fantasy XI and is currently producing their third, Fantasy Earth: The Ring of Dominion.

Stormos, I'm sorry but I think it's a little selfish for you to feel that way. This is everybody's game. That's like me asking "I wish everyone else would quit clothcraft so I could be the only one doing it and make lots of money." It's a Japanese game and it's very popular in Japan, I see no reason why they should stop playing just to make a few American players happy.

In addition to CrossGate and Final Fantasy XI, Square Enix and PlayOnline cover production of Everquest II in Japan. I can guess that you'd get all pissed off if a Japanese EQ2 player said "Why don't the Americans quit EQ2 so we can play more?"

sorry paipai, i didnt mean it like that. i meant they are always on, no matter what time it is. if it's like 3-6am their time, they should just let the NA battle for it D; i really enjoy pting with JPs and i dont want them to quit the game. but i would like to see NA only hnm ls at one of the king version hnm if it's 3am JP time ._.

not only is fantasy earth in development for POL, but they're also getting the front mission MMO... which i absolutely want! ; ;

Your ability to generalize players, keep a selfish mindset even after Pai's post and still expect some sort of sympathy amazes me.

Using math anyone can figure that (these days) seeing something like Nidhogg running free for your LS to claim without effort isn't going to happen. If you wanted to see it happen, just rewind back a year when less people were in HNM LSes in general. I know AA has gotten HNMs which were running free in the past, so the "NA only" point is moot.

I also can say that Ragnarok is a far cry from being 'the most haijin' of servers. Vrtra and Jormungand is still running free, while Tiamat is "no touch" except for 2 LSes.

Despite the fact that Sheila is a snooty, stuckup bitch and her HNM LS is nothing but a bunch of losers with no lives running Nidhogg bots, I agree that it's childish and selfish of you to think the Japanese are all gonna disappear just so you can get some high level gear for yourself. A year ago, maybe you would've seen HNMs walking free. But today, you have hundreds of people fighting over the same 3 HNM. Thanks Square!

If you knew Stormos you would know that he doesn't want HNMs to get gear for himself. All the RNG gear is easilly obtained through simple, non-competitive HNM methods.

If it is selfish to want a chance at fighting the harder monsters of the game that we rarely/never get a shot at, then feel free to call me selfish.
