    Just throwing this out there... but I've noticed that for the most part alot of NM drops are not Rare. Wouldn't placing more Rare or Exclusive . This has always been a topic that has kinda rolled around in the back of my head. If NM's items where Ra Ex more often they would become alot more available as to people if you could just go camp NM's with a PT rather than High lvl ppl farming these items for gil and have little or no interest in using the item themselves. Plus even if more where just Rare ppl would have to go off and sell or trans to a mule before they could get another one. Either way it would allow for alot more opertunity for other ppl to camp mobs. I know that some items do exist that are Rare Ex or Rare... but I think they are far too uncommon and would solve alot of solutions. For instance if the Archer Ring was Rare, but when crafted into a Sniper would lose the tag. Thus cheap Archer rings since ppl want to sell quick as a result cheap or cheaper Sniper Rings. Overall if this practice became more common the amount of "Farming" might be greatly reduced since you might be able to go just go camp a NM rather than "Farm" for a month to go buy some Ochiudo's Kote. Personally I think this was SE's idea with most NM that ppl farm for gil for example Mee Deggi the Punisher is only lvl 35ish and could I'm sure be killed by a pt of 33-34 ppl thus it's 34 lvl requirement to wear. Where they screwed up was by not placing any tag on it so any ppl who could solo the mob can just camp... and then sell the item.


    Just my thoughts FFXI wasn't released yesturday and you would think this might have occured to them, but obviously this hasn't happen and prob. will not be implimented. So just list it as a nature of the game. I've always never been a fan of how much FFXI Requires you to "FARM", but I overall like the game thus accept it. Previously I played Everquest to a very high level "Time Enabled Guild etc" I never had the issues with equipment or Expense that I do in this game. Thus I never remember seeing nearly the Gil Seller issues that are present in FFXI

    Result: FFXI requires alot of in game time to aquire in game Money aka (Gil). Alot of ppl don't want to spend 1/2 their playtime "Farming" == Creates a Prime market for online Gil Sellers... so in someways its SE fault for introducing such a nessisary demand on in game money. Also by releaseing the game into an already mature game economy w/ JP players already too rich to know what to do with all their Gil. I believe server economies would have been drastically different if everyone was lvl 1 wearing their Noob Equipment till lvl 20 last Nov.

    Ok Ok... this post/rant is getting a little long.... sorry hopefully ppl can pick through this and get something out of it

    Ideally this would be true, however, in practice it isn't. Leaping Boots and Emperor's Hairpin are both rare and are still overcamped. Once something goes on auction or to a mule, you can get another. all you have to do if you're a gilseller is have someone (much like whiteiii used to do on midgard) who's sole purpose is to collect the items, warp and put up on ah. You can have an Emp. Hairpin on one each of 50 mules if you want, it won't delay your farming as it takes less than 2 hours to warp, send to mule, choco back to valkurm.

    Pretty much the only thing to fix this is to make itmes EX, whether they're rare or not. However, making archer rings EX and lose the EX when crafted would make the cost go UP. Imagine every drk/sam/war/thf who wanted an archer ring competing with lv.90+ crafters... If a lv.90+ tanner camps a stroper chyme for 2 days to make an archer ring, you can bet the buyer is going to pay dearly for it.

      Ha, I'm glad my leather is 85 now, almost there. Man would that be awesome to have Stroper all to myself ;D.

      But I think a reasonable solution is to make both the normal and it's upgraded version bazaar onry. Nobody likes bazaaring shit.
