I need some help knowing what I can hunt for some decent gil...

I just really aint knowledgeable about what drops what, and when I'm strong enough to fight things. I find myself always going back to the same NMs, only to never get drop, or never get to em when they spawn...and I'm just hoping some of you can help me know what I can fight to farm for gil, and maybe something that's an NM. I know I have access to alot more areas because I'm a lv50 samurai, but I still have limits because if I have to heal after every battle, that aint very efficient. I can't always go to valkurm emperor and keep hoping to get it when they spawn, because that just takes forever, and I can waste weeks on nothing. As it is, I can't do any further lving up until I buy new armor, and new weapons for my character, and I'm dead broke atm.

Most of my money making doesnt involve NM'S since I just don't have the time to hunt em very much.

IF you take minimum gear to BEDO one day do this quest..

If you have 50 slots from mog and take only bare minimum gear say min armor and stongest weapon.
7 slots That leaves 43 free slots..
you just made 38700 in one day ^^

Trust me they arent camped either.. SO have fun takes maybe 2 hrs to make that amount of gil..



Since we share a server I'll give you another tip

Hunt orcs in davoi .. just stay away from the stronger ones near the west. I hunt there because no one goes there anymore. so Ican make about 50-100 gil per orc with no downtime. And you get added benefit of items to sell or craft also.

Join a skill up PT and steal gold coins

Sell old equip
Get tree cuttings or w/e

lol Its really easy

if your backpack has 50 slots for example.. take only 7 peices of gear...

That will leave you with 43 open slots for the helms.

The quest starts in bastok, Travel to Beadeaux(BEDO in jpn version).. Its a really simple quest.

your pack amount is up to you .. I just gave an example of having 50 .. if you have less it adjusts the amount of money you can make.

Also, you need a fair amount of Bastok fame to accept the quest, so I would suggest talking to the NPC first before heading to Bedo and filling up on helmets. ^^

Another suggestion I have for you would be to hunt giants in Delkfutt's tower. A lot of us made money that way from about level 40-55. At your level, you won't really be able to handle the 10th floor very well, but you should be able to manage almost every other floor without too much trouble. Giants on the middle floors drop from about 100-150 gil each, and a little more if you have a THF SJ. That doesn't sound like much, but it adds up. Plus if you kill pots and dolls, you get loot to sell. On our server, a stack of mercury = 5-6k, a stack of pot shards = about 12k, and a stack of doll parts is a little under 20k (i don't remember the exact total on doll parts, sorry ). The middle floors of the tower aren't usually horribly camped, and if you find yourself in a camped spot, there's plenty of tower left to try. ^^

there is also alot of NMS in that area just check there spots from time to time and maybe you got the drop 45k worth
