Firstly, this "update" is, in fact, a downgrade, it removes the Net MD function from your BB Navigator:

I don't know whether if you click "ã?„ã?„ã?ˆ" when it asks to update, you will still be able to log on. I have alreaday updated one of my PS2's last night cause I didn't get the email detailing the "update" until this morning, I just asssumed that it was an improvement, not a downgrade. If you happen to use the Net MD function, perhaps you should try to bypass this update, if that is a possible option.

I'm not too sure, I think its some sort of legal thing, they didn't explain very clearly. The update removes the capability of transferring music files you downloaded from the Music Channel to Net MD player/storage media.

Although I never use the Net MD thing, I still don't like to see functions being removed from my PS2...

Well, that explains what the difference was... I couldn't find it, but I don't have an MD player to connect my PS2 to. I've got a friend who has the 0.31 install disc nearby, so I can go back to that version if I really need, but it will probably erase the downloaded files I've got from 0.20 that I can't replace anymore, like some of the Venus & Braves videos...

Someone had linked me to MagicBox last week saying that the next update would remove the Music Channel. Maybe they misread that it would remove a feature from that Channel, and not the whole channel itself...

well, ain't i glad i clicked the "iie" option. I could still get in fine and play, so it's not such a big deal.
