My attack goes down 50% when equiping...

A cruel spear lowers my attack 50% when i equip it, i have like 53 attack with no weapon equiped, then i equip the creul spear and my attack goes to 24?! what's up with that, with a mrc. greatsword my attack is like 93 :'(.

The cruel spear's DMG is 29

is your spear skill high? If it isnt thats why your attack lowers when you equip a weapon that you have no skill with.
