I am a level 50Rng and I'm getting alittle bored of hunting NM's. I was wondering if any of you might like to share your farming techniques? I'm looking for something that has more of a garunteed return then NM's. As well all know you could spend 24 hours hunting the Valkurn Emperor and make a millions dollars in 1 day. You could also end up with nothing much 5 stacks of insect wings and a wasted day. So does anyone know any higher level farming tricks that they might share?

Im sorta looking for "Kill mass amounts of enemies to get large amounts of items and sell on the AH" Method. Gardening requires that you remember to do certain things at a certain time. I'm not good at that.Gardening
2 - 5 hours time? Umm... do you mean this is how long you think it will take me or anyone else to farm them? If that is your time that is a large window of time. Did you zoneout/blackout for an hour or so? Good trick thoughGot a stack of gold coins today = 80-90k. 2 - 5 hours time.
Thanks guys

Um, I just do it on a mule. Just login to it at least once or twice every 24 hours and check on your plants. It's not much work. You can yield great things.Originally posted by Matsukurago

If you're a 50RNG/25THF+ then Ram hunting is right for you. Usually they are never camped but I guess all servers are different. Each ram drops a horn worth 1k+ and skins worth 500gil+. In LaTheine there's 2 spawns every 10 min and a 3rd odd random spawn that is randomly placed all over. Each ram will drop an average of about 3k worth of stuff. 2 spawn in 10 min so 6kx6 = about 36k/hour. This is only if you sell the materials raw though. If you have a 35+ tannery you can guild the skins and turn it up to about 45k/hour or so. When the 70>75 patch came out there were a lot of new materials that needed those Ram leathers. It turned to about 100k+/hour hunting rams...I know I friend who bought a 1 million Gil level 71 Ritter Shield in just 1 day of hunting and 1 day of selling... Of course it's not big money like hunting VE and getting a drop but it's a good reliable source of income. Only problem is that if you can't guild the skins or if you haven't done any of the gob bag expansions you're gonna have to head back to town to unload all your stuff on like your 6th ram...

My new favorite thing to do in the game is mining.. gil is actually not that bad, after you get past buying all the equipment to boost your mining skills. Just this morning, I went mining for 2 hours made about 43k, ofcourse that involes knowing where mining spots are, oh and I kill elements in area if they pop. I suppose you can make alot more if you mine in hard areas but, I've heard that mining is a hidden ability?? So when I guess when I stop breaking Pickaxes in gusgen then it'll be time for me to more to ifrits cauldron and try my luck for the adaman ores. currently 100k each on my server.Lonewolfy -- Bismarck
