Our group was finishing up some leveling in Delks this afternoon, and decided to defeat Pallas as our final battle. When we first arrived we took out his brother Alke(something) up on the 12th floor rather easily and assumed Pallas would be a pushover aswell...
So we pulled the NM to us and started battling on the stairs. Everything was going fine untill Pallas for the first time that I've seen, CHARMED our Paladin! Our pally then turned on our mnk, and started swinging his sword against him PVP style. You could imagine our surprise
Our pally was baffled at this, and was apologizing profusely. None of us could target him with healing spells, so we resorted to sleeping him. He resisted sleep2 from our rdm proving there is atleast 1 passive ability that actually works. Fortunately, my Lullaby stuck on him, and we thought everything was fine.
Then for some reason, maybe to be funny, the Drk turned to the Pld and started whacking him with his scythe breaking my sleep. We tried getting him to stop, but I don't think he was paying attention to the chat... I try sleeping him again praying that the Drk will stop in time. Few moments after the second lullaby stuck, our Drk busts out Guillotine on the Pld killing him! :dead:
You can imagine how hard we were all laughing... except for the Pld
. Eventually, we beat up Pallas in the end, but he only dropped his stinky socks, and only gave 168 Exp. But the missing drops and exp was more than made up for by this taste of PVP, and the hilarity that stemmed from it.
Note: The Drk's guillotine landed all 5 hits, but only did 220 damage to our Pld which made our Drk feel quite sad.
