My only accomplishment is being the only importer Dragoon on Lakshmi, sitting around at a nice 40ish when the NA version came out. I am now level 57 and at least 4-5 NA dragoons have passed me :sweat:

Those times, I competed with Mascis and Baran for Oz coffer! and Timy too, back then he was a whm hunting. If not for a thf called Michio, make me wait 8 hours later b4 i got my first Oz AF, only then Oz become my HP. Mascis was the most crafty, Baran is hardworking and annoying (as usual). Timy does /angry when his coffer gets stolen from behind (lol)

Hmm, I’ll have to split this down into characters:

Seymoure
-Got my first importer linkshell by doing /say DOES ANONE SPEAK ENGLISH!!!!??? In Bastok Markets and Laquincain just happened to walk by
-Was able to play the game pretty well even though I had no Japanese skills what so ever. Even helped out a bunch of noobs who just got on with my famous 3 hour tutorials :p
-Got to Jeuno, Sandoria, and Windurst at level 8. (Ok I know this is possible at level 1 but it’s a pretty big damn achievement for someone who just got the game a week ago and has never been out of the Gustaburg region before XD )
-Was able to BLM to the 30s with a faulty connection that would DC me every 15 minutes. (dunno if that’s actually a good thing)
-Leveled DRK to the 50s (Sorry but that job is a bitch. It took me the same amount of time to get DRK from 50-54 than it did getting WHM from 25-63 )
-Had the opportunity to get PWNED by King Behemoth the first time it ever spawned on Ragnarok 2 hours before my account got deactivated

-Believed to be the first NA to be rank 5 (I did it at level 18 like less than a week after NA release)
-I thought I was going to be the first NA/BRD to hit level 75 on Ragnarok but I got beat by another BRD who doesn’t go to school and work. He also makes his own PTs 100% of the time cause he invites other JPS even thought he doesn’t know 1 word of Japanese and stays silent after he invites and lets everyone else lead the PT. (this is called a moocher) I believe I’m in second place though.
-Passed up most my friends level wise. Sorry but I find this kinda funny :p Most the people on my LS were in the 60s when I started over and now I’m all the way in the 70s with them a few months later :p I’ve passed up a few of them too. Probably cause they keep leveling a bunch of different jobs /duh
-Pwned BC40 bunnies finally (those guys are really hard compared to the mandos if you don’t have a BST)
-Killed my first HNM Simurgh (sp?). It wasn’t pretty but it was my first even though I think like 4 level 75 people can kill it now.
-Plan to get Tulia and Rank10 soon as well :/

-Been playing FFXI for almost 2 years now. Never thought you could possibly play a game for so long and not get sick of it.
-Started over and moved on even though I lost a 1500+ hour character and millions of gil (ex. Raise II for 620k, Erase 400k ect.) I know many people who would quit the game if that shit happened to them
-Been with the same group of friends ever since NeoG broke which was about a year ago from around this time. Lots of shit got in the way like other HNM LS’s and stuff but we’re all still pretty much together.
-Have learned a fair amount of Japanese. I can pretty much compile any simple sentence there is. I also know the basic alphabet and can read a fair amount of JP if a lot of Kanji isn’t thrown in. I think that’s a big achievement for someone who didn’t know 1 single thing of JP before. I plan to take Japanese in my new college during the fall semester. I’ll be happy to know that I’m gonna be a month or 2 ahead of everyone else thanks to a video game. lol
-Doesn’t like the fact that people who’ve had the game for half as long as me think they’re better than everyone as well cause they have a big 75 next to their name and don’t know shit about any other jobs (sorry had to throw this one in).

- Got lvl 50 last night with my bst, my first job to reach it.
- Learning Raise as whm when I hit 25 lvling in Lower Delkfutt's, and raising my first time on a party nearby.
- Charming the Kraken for the first time and using it to kill all the trains at Qufim.
- Raising my evasion skill by letting Siege bats hit me in Garliage, before charming them, then leaving zone. Repeat x20. ;p (I was bored)
- General stuff like helping ppl with subjob items and saving lives at Valkurm/shakrami maze

Some crappy deaths:
- lvl 49, Just finished killing soldier crawler in CN, released killer mushroom pet (which has built up over 100% tp), resting. An exoray spawns behind me (I hear the familiar 'paddle' sound of its footsteps). It aggros and hits me, subsequently making the killer mushroom link which proceeds to unleash Silence Gas on me for about 450 dmg. I stupidly press the 'heal' button to stand, but as we all know you stand automatically when you get hit, so I'm just telling myself to sit back down. I *finally* get moving, manage to charm the mushroom back, but exo beats me to a pulp.

- lvl 43, Wondering what 'sticky surface' was deep in maze and spawning Icherous Ire. Charm a labryrinth scorp, and stupidly told it to do a special, so it does wild rage and aggros other nearby scorp and a protozoan. First scorp dies, I charm protozoan and tell it to attack Ire, while I fight 2nd scorp. Getting low on life, try to cast regen about five times (am usually good with spell timing/interruptions), back out a bit more, only to aggro a wight from the preceding room due to yellow hp. Stupidly run out to seek my escape and proceed to aggro every wight there. Get gravity, and aeroga cast on me, and then all I see is blackness. -_-; I hate that room with a passion.

Notable mentions:
- Saving setparty countless times from adds/links/spawns by charming (and using 2hr when needed), moving the mob away and releasing, or using it on the current enemy.
- Saving other ppl/parties from links/adds by charming the mob and doing same thing - and having the satisfaction of sending a /tell to the lvl 38 taru mage "The exoray isn't chasing you anymore."

i died 9x in 5hr at lv28 as bst at quifim, it seems like i die less and less everday w, gotta start a /blist soon, ppl wonder why i didnt answer while lving. 9/10x death is caused by typin while pet got killed TT

got 300 exp with 3 chain at jungle at lv28 as brd
one of the first importer to kill kamura and get to tulia~ back in the days< capped @65

left the game for 4 months~ n still managed to catch up
still strugglin for money XD~play less everyday
