Oh well, count me out. Probably would have been more of a hindrance anyway.

          Re: D&D

That actually sounds interesting. In high-school, my "stoner" friend always set up a half-arsed campaign with our group during lunch time. My D&D knowledge was just as bad as it is now (zilch, zero, nada), but for what it's worth; it was fun.

If I can remember correctly: I was a Monk who vowed into silence and was always being summoned by one of my Mage friends because I was always getting lost with my bad sense of direction and inability to ask for them.

          ... Yeah.

Sucks I'm no good with keeping schedule; I'd be interested to actually learn from a reliable source.

I'm interested... I think Yyg, that people are a bit apprehensive because they dont want to get locked into something if it doesn't float their boat. How would you feel about a month committment, so say around 2 meetings, and then those that don't feel it's for them can bail. Would that work for you? Also, since it's only 2 meetings, someone else should be able to fill in since not that much time / experiance has elapsed. What do you think?

I like the cut of your jib.

How about this? What if I use the willing forum community as a test audience for this online gaming adaptation? If I can organize 2 games in May... one for 4 of you... another for the other 4, that would give all 8 of you a taste of the game to decide if it's you kinda thing. If it is, you're welcome to continue, if not, you're welcome to drop out.

                Fair enough?

Because I can adapt little mini campaigns to suit that purpose nicely.

                    Re: D&D

Given that I live in the UK doing it in a chatroom/IRC/whatever format might be difficult for me since what might be a good time for you may will be 3-4am for me. It was actually one reason why I brought up play by post since it's actually the easiest way for me to play with people in different time zones.

I'm still interested, though obviously if the sessions are at a bad time for me I don't mind dropping for someone else.

You mean two throw-away campaigns just to see how we like the world you've built get our feet wet before moving on to the real campaign?

We can always see what works best for the group but I was thinking of a time that would be universally neutral... like 2:00pm EST. That way, those of you who are ahead of EST wont need to stay up late... and those of you behind EST wont need to be up super early.

Like I said... we'll wing it when we know who's available when.
