Shovel Knight

Shovel Knight is by Yacht Club Games, the first project from some people that departed from WayForward, particularly the guys that did the excellent Contra 4 and Double Dragon Neon. This is more or less Megaman + Ducktales + Castlevania and if it meets it exceeds its Kickstarter goals, it will be Wii U and 3DS-bound on top of PC.

Given Capcom and Konami seem set against giving anyone a Megaman or proper Castlevania fix, this will probably be the best thing going for a while. I think Scrooge McDuck is in that armor, though.

Interesting concept for the weapon/interaction, but I find it hard to get behind parody projects.

And screw Konami & Capcom (screw SE too for that matter, doing nothing with the Crono and Xeno licenses)
