Well, it's not like Keldeo wasn't already a horse in Black & White 1. Plus, he and his three buddies are actually references to the Three Musketeers. On the other hand...

Hmmm, I guess that's what I get for not following the games. I didn't know it was already in Black and White.

Black & White also had Zebstrika, the awesome electric zebra.

Hmm... that makes 3 possible candidates on an all-equine team. Well, maybe 4 if I can count Horsea.

2 to more to go! Let's go Elements of Harmony team!

You could use Keldeo's musketeer buddies:

You're gonna have to use your imagination for Terrakion though, it's hard to call that thing a horse.

You guys fail at Pokemon. I've been kicking major arse with a MLP theme team online since the game came out here in 2011:

                -Hidden Power (Grass)
                -Ice Beam
                -Surf

Basically there to open the battle by calling in Rain for the team via Drizzle. She can very easily revenge kill with Surf and Ice Beam since they hit like a truck and Ice beam lets her take on Dragons. Focus Sash is there for the speed boost really and it lets me hit the other lead with Hypnosis before switching to AJ to setup Stealth Rock or Dash to start attacking.

The great thing about the new sleep mechanics is that switching resets the timer so basically if the other guy switches out, he has to wait even longer for the sleeping pokemon to wake up.

After that she's mostly there for hit and run really since i need to keep her alive to refresh rain in case it's dispelled by another weather effect.

                -Protect
                -Stealth Rock
                -Leech Seed
                -Power Whip

Basically the party's special tank that can scout well due to Protect and support the rest of the team offensively and defensively with Leech Seed and Stealth Rock. She has grean Synergy with Fluttershy because she can Leech Seed sleeping enemies and Ranbow Dash because the extra damage from Stealth Rock and extra HP restored from Leech Seed can make all the difference.

Power Whip also hits like a truck so it's not as if she can't attack. Also physical attackers won't want to attach her due to the kickback damage from Iron Barbs.

                -Brick Break
                -Thunder
                -Hurricane

Rainbow Dash is one of my main attackers, she is able to beat the living crap out of a lot of defensive pokemon (Hurricane is a 3HKO on max special defence Ferrothorn). Brick Break is there to counter Tyranitar which will dispel rain with it's ability, plus it also does a good job of countering Chansey/Blissey. Modest is run because I don't want to sacrifice defence, plus Brick Break is seldom used but when it is needed it's a lifesaver for the entire team.

Modest Dash seems ironic but it works on this set and after the "Mysterious Mare do Well" episode, it does fit her character development.

She and Pinkie Pie have excellent type synergy together, since Pinkie Pie's lone weakness is grass which Rainbow Dash can tank with no problem. Pinkie Pie returns the favour by tanking ice attacks for her. Thunder and Hurricane have perfect accuracy in Rain and they also have a high chance of Paralysis and Confusion respectively. Status effects can be problematic but Rarity can take care of those for the team.

Rotom-W (Pinkie Pie) @ Choice Scarf
                Levitate

                -Trick
                -Hidden Power (Ice)
                -Volt Switch
                -Hydro Pump

She's actually faster than Rainbow Dash which is very fitting. Trick lets her cripple a lot of pokemon that would otherwise tank this team, Volt Switch hits hard, lets her get out of danger and since it's electric, is a great all round offensive move. Hydro Pump is there for the STAB.

As noted above, Electric/Water gives her great type synergy with Rainbow Dash (Dragon/Flying) as they can both tank the other's weaknesses.

                Jirachi (Twilight) @ Leftovers
                Serene Grace
                252 Hp / 216 Def / 40 Spe
                Bold
                -Reflect
                -Wish
                -U-Turn
                -Thunder

Twilight basically supports the rest of the team. Her defence stat hits 638 with Reflect, which lets her tank damage while passing on Wish to the rest of the team to try to Paralyze with Thunder. 40 EVs in Speed lets her outspeed a lot of other pokemon and can also escape from Magnet Pullers with U-Turn.

Obviously she's weak to fire attacks but Pinkie can deal with those. One major role of Twilight is that she can tank physical attackers all say with her high defence, reflect, paralysis chance with Thunder and wish healing, while AJ tanks the special attackers. Fighting types will also struggle to get past her as she can U-Turn out and let Dash beat the hell out of them with Hurricane.

                -Rapid Spin
                -Thunder
                -Ice Beam
                -Surf

Rarity is there to take status and to Rapid Spin area hazards away, which would render my team useless. Thunder + Ice Beam covers a ton of different types. Like with Fluttershy, I use Ice Beam to finish off dragon types, and Surf for STAB and I try to keep her alive for as long as possible. Most Pursuit users will tear her a new one so I keep her away from those. She and Fluttershy aren't primary attackers but they do well as backup in an emergency. Because I want to keep them both alive, they tend to get switched out after 1-2 turns or like Fluttershy, simply just switched in to force a Dragon to switch out or eat an Ice Beam.
