Everquest 3

Well, the title is a slight lie. It's called Everquest Next, but is intended to be the third installment in the series. From what I've read they plan on changing things up a lot, and so far the concept and screenshots have been incredibly interesting. I'm really digging the style, whereas I didn't for the first two.

Anyone know much or have anything to say about EQ3? I'll link some images. Sorry I don't really have any substantial links to articles.

Make it faction based like the original and more action based and maybe I'll care.

I believe in an interview (I'll try and find the source if you want), they said they wanted to stay away from what they did in EQ2 and reduce the amount of races.

It would be nice if you added something a bit more substantial to the thread, instead of some vague horse crap.

Actually, Champions of Norrath was pretty good. I wish they'd do another spin-off in the Diablo vein.

Then again, Sony would just slap an Online Pass on it.

It seems like it'll be a reimagining of Norrath, rather than a continuation of it. Comments from the devs is along the cliche lines of "We've learnt a lot about the evolving genre, and this is going to be nothing like what's currently on the market." The wiki is the only place with substantial information, even then it's very limited. Perhaps I made this thread too soon.
