I saw this on the XBL "indie" marketplace a couple days ago and downloaded the demo. It looked like a old-school FF game and it had Cthulu as a protagonist... wah wah WAH?!?!?!!
The yesterday I read this review: Xbox Live Indie Gems: Cthulhu Saves the World | Joystiq and it reminded me I needed to check my DL out.
Needless to say, I ended up spending $3 yesterday. It's truly funny. The gameplay is pretty well layered for just a simple turn-based rpg. The humor plays off of many games we've all enjoyed. I highly suggest checking out the demo. You're only allowed 5min which actually is only enough time to get through the intro... but then restart the game and button mash through and you'll be able to actually play a bit of the game. For an indie rpg the art is pretty decent.
I'm looking forward to this game as a change of pace for me. A pick up and play and put down at any time type of game... and I feel good supporting an indie developer.
/check it out guys... I think you'll all enjoy it.
