Ok, so I arrived very late to the party.
Fortunately the modding community seems to be going very strong still (at least until Bethesda releases Fallout 4) and even though playing the normal game is already awesome the addition of mods has made the game just too good to stop.
But enough rambling, the real question is:
Which are your favorite/recommended mods for Fallout 3?
Here are some that I like:

The shojou companion mod is looks awesome but needs a lot of pre-requisites.
