I feel your pain. I don't even do them unless we have at least 3 other guild members online and willing to go. We can PUG one person, and typically, one person is not enough to fuck up the run.

Been leveling alts lately. No one's been on and I refuse to PUG.

If you don't mind a full server that from time to time still has 20 minute queues to log on and aren't worried about hardcore progression you're welcome to join us on Kil'jaeden, we do just fine with heroics. If you're up for the transfer fee and all that, but hell, offer's out there.

Heroics are unpuggable. Holy god, people just don't know how to handle slightly difficult bosses. I couldn't beat the first boss of tides last night because people kept getting tornadoed. And it took me 2 hours to beat High Priestess Azil because people kept getting hit by boulders.

Though I'm not terribly hurt about visual mechanics changing somewhat, like the tornadoes in the Altairus fight or the dust clouds underneath Corborus. That's the kind of stuff that saves the lives of people with shitty computers.

Even with the addition of them there are still people who stand in the tornadoes. The rest of us call it "Natural Selection" though

Are you physically unable to play games that aren't exclusives?

I get most of games for my 360 so I can play with my friends. So I mostly use my PS3 to play PS1/PS2 games and its exclusives that interest me.

So some of the mechanics for some of the bosses have been ninja fixed, and people are already qqing about the nerf. Heroics are hard, especially if you PUG, but they were manageable and after people start getting raid gear they're going to be easy as shit.

I own a PS3, and love it. :3 I was lucky enough to grab the original 80gig PS3 before they stopped the PS2 backwards compatibility. So being able to have a 3-in-1 system is just too good

As of right now, however, there are few PS3 exclusives that really stand out for me. I enjoyed LBP and am having lots of fun with GT5, but nothing else really catches my eye. I may give Yakuza 3 and the future Yakuza installments a look if I find myself enjoying Yakuza 1 & 2.

Always been a racing game fan so I'm loving getting my hands on Wipeout HD Fury among others. Playing FFXIII and enjoying the graphics but bored to shit of the cutscenes (never thought I'd feel that way) and the linear "walk down this path" design. I need to pick up a decent FPS but haven't seen anything that captures my attention like a Goldeneye-style game. It's a shame the latest Vandal Hearts offering is getting such awful reviews, I loved the first one on the original PS but the second one they released was pretty weak and the PS3 release seems very failsauce.

Anyway, apologies for the derail especially considering I kicked off about it in another thread.

My sub runs out on Friday but I uninstalled this morning. Boring expansion is boring.

Went out and bought a PS3 and a 40" tv so I'm still getting my gaming fix but without the online idiocy from an MMO for the first time in nearly ten years.

Best get dem PSOne Classics!
