Ending up grabbing a copy of Okami since I couldn't get RE4 Wii Edition at the local store I did some PSX trade-ins at.
The main differences are:
Better resolution
Better framerate
LCD TV mode really cuts down on the thick blurry lines, even on an SD TV.
The colors are really vibrant now, not muted to like on PS2
The Celestial Brush is a bit more fussy, but proves to be more forgiving during combat.
You can't advance character dialog as quickly as you'd like to.
Better version overall, I'd say
