I've given up on Nintendo handhelds long ago, with my last being a big blue DS. I enjoy my PSP loads more than I did my DS.
I have both, use both often, but use my DS more often for games.
Sony just exudes apathy when it comes for PSP, which is really the only thing that makes me care less about it that I should. Much of it has to do with the failure to deliver on the PSOne classics and UMD channels.
Were Sony to do things like Fat Princess: A Fistful of Cake and Mod Nation Racers on PSP more often, it might actually feel like they care. But I've stopped logging on every Thursday to see if they put up anything worth a damn.
So, please tell me what is the big draw to Nintendo?
because Nintendo has been here the longest, and knows what the hell they are doing, yes they are not perfect (virtual boy ) *cough* but they do a lot more good then bad

Yup. Expect to see motion controls and the "split controller" (nunchuck) style as the standard for the next generation of consoles. Nintendo ALWAYS sets new standards, they never fail. Except for the Virtual Boy.
That's why I'm excited about the 3DS. While we haven't even seen it yet, I have no doubt that Mario Kart 3D will be SICK.
Really, everyone rips off Nintendo, sure, but people don't follow them completely.
True. They are innovators which usually means they're not the perfectors of that technology. The Wiimote in itself is incredibly outdated by today's standards which is why they had to release an add-on to update it. Still, I love 'em not only for their innovation but for their decisions to take risks on these innovations.
Haha ok so maybe Nintendo wasn't the first to do the split controller thing. But they also weren't the first to do motion controls... they were just the first to make it a system standard. I do think they were the first, however, to use infrared technology as a positioning device (pointing the remote at a TV and seeing where you're pointing). That sh** is awesome.
If all you guys love Nintendo so much why don't you all just marry it?
We're not EUs. Here in America, Corporations and Humans may both be persons, entitled to equal rights, but that DOESN'T mean we're going to throw out millions of years of tradition so that some deviants can marry Corporations. I mean really, first thing you let people marry Corporations, then they start marrying all sorts of vague concepts and entities! Do you REALLY want to let people marry their imaginary friends? Or SANTA CLAUS?
I was exclusively on my PSP when I got FFT. Now I'm exclusively on DS playing Dragon Quest 5.
It's the game. Not the console.
