Feba, there was a time we didn't click on a icon to access a program. Apple was the first company to have a graphic user interface for their computers. People feel MS (Gates) stole that from Apple (Jobs).

The rest of the world has moved on, but there are still those few Apple fanboys out there that want to resent any success MS has.

What does Windows have to do with Xbox? Very little, if anything. Its a different division of MS, just like Playstation is a different division of Sony and iPod and iPhone are a different parts of Apple.

Resenting Xbox 360 because of Windows is kinda like resenting cheese for milk. Damn those cows, goats have milk too! Cows totally stole that whole milk idea!

Yes, but far more people have Cow Cheese. There are more cows, they produce more milk than goats do. Everyone uses cow milk and cheese now.

Well its true they try and force Internet browsers on you, so much so that you can;t windows update without Internet explorer, its the only time I use it. However europe have contened on to this and ......

Microsoft is accused by EU again

The EU and Microsoft have clashed several times over the years


The European Commission has accused Microsoft of harming competition by bundling its Internet Explorer browser with its Windows operating system.

The commission said it had reached the preliminary view that the US software giant had undermined consumer choice and infringed EU rules.

Microsoft and the European Union have engaged in legal battles over competition issues for years.

Last year, the EU fined Microsoft 899m euros ($1.4bn; £680.9m).

Browser battle

In its statement on Friday the Commission said: "Microsoft's tying of Internet Explorer to the Windows operating system harms competition between web browsers, undermines product innovation and ultimately reduces consumer choice."

Microsoft said that it was studying the commission's preliminary finding, and did not rule out requesting a formal hearing.

It has been given eight weeks to reply.

The US software firm controls the majority of the web-browsing market through its Explorer browser.

Analysts say the company has diversified enormously and is now no longer so reliant on its Windows operating system, with revenue coming from Xbox sales and server software.

In February 2008, the EU fined Microsoft 899m euros for defying sanctions imposed on it for anti-competitive behaviour.

The penalty - which was then one of the largest imposed by the European Commission - came after Microsoft failed to comply with an earlier 2004 ruling that it had abused its market position.

Yeah, but everyone's trying to downplay chicken these days. Chicken found a new market too, but because chicken isn't succeeding the way cow and fish have, it magically doesn't count. Chicken is appealing to the kids and the people Cow and Fish have overlooked and innovating the market in several new ways.

But not in the "sophisticated" ways Cow and Fish fanboys like. Fish is expensive and there's very little desirable variety there compared to Cow and Chicken, so its been losing market share to both. People still want to feel like Fish is the winner, though, so they'll downplay Chicken's success at every turn. Cow doesn't really care what Chicken does, hell, Cow sometimes wants in on Chicken's Nugget market and finds revenue from it by way of third parties.

Goat eventually found its own market years ago and became quite successful. Fish tried to tap Goat's and Chicken's market at the same time with a new kind of Nugget product, but customers used it to get free tuna and didn't buy the fish that they were supposed to buy for it.

Oh yes, Japan get it some time in 2009, but because of the lovely 360 launch we have to wait untill over a year away. Just if you wanted another reason to hate 360's and microsoft all you PS3 owners.

Haha, what? I'm literally laughing at this post. That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever read. Even if it wasn't getting ported to the XBox 360, we'd still be waiting this long. From your post, it seems as though you've probably never played a Final Fantasy game, or you're new to the series. You do realize that they have to translate all the text, rewrite the script, and then re-record it all in English, right? Porting it to the 360 won't take all that time.

I really, really, really hope that this is a troll post. Because if it's not, these are sad, dark times for the Final Fantasy fanbase if its composed of people that believe things like this.

EDIT: And in case you're wondering, I'm a Sony supporter, so there's no M$ bias here.
