And I'm confused as shit. I feel like I'm in Bizarro world. I went online for an analysis, and I'm even more confused. I'm sure I missed something somewhere, lol, cause there's NO WAY what I read online is true about the Patriots.

What did you read, because the truth around the Patriots is very fucked up. But that's what made it so awesome.


And are you sure it was an hour Pai? It seemed like 2 for me (I beat the game around 3 AM and didn't go to bed until 5...)


Now to mess around with Liquid Easy mode for some unlockables! :D

Metal Gear Solid 4: More Creepy Snake-In-A-Room-With-A-Model Clips! (very minor spoilers, VERY AWESOME EGG)

This really seals it. Kojima put so much detail and attention into this game. Definitely the first thing I'm getting when I pick up a PS3 (and by then, we'll likely have "MGS4: Subpurchase")

Also, Metal Gear needs to be brought over to Wii. For one reason: Codec Chatter. I can hear it now.

CAMPBELL: Good, Snake, you found a weapon!
NASTASHA: To fire your weapon, press the B button. You can get a more precise aim by using the C button to switch into first person, and then pointing the Wii Remote at your target before pressing the B button.
SNAKE: So basically, to fire a gun I pull the trigger?
NASTASHA: ...
SNAKE: I have to point the gun at my target and then pull the trigger? Thanks. I don't know how I would've figured that out.

OTACON: ...It's easy, snake! Just <do something> with the Nunchuk.
SNAKE: Nunchucks?! This isn't an anime, Otacon!

OTACON: ...didn't you buy Wii Play?

OTACON: I thought everybody bought Wii Play, because it came with a controller.
CAMPBELL: We have to find a way to keep him from reading your mind!
[I have no idea what could replace controller ports, though. Maybe unplugging the Nunchuk, but then you're screwed for movement.]

O.o in the game? Is it an egg I missed or is it later in act 4 or 5?
Found one egg, when you're talking to Big Mama at the church and you first see to use L1 and see the little probe things in the white suit, if you keep holding L1 after that, even though its not telling you to, you see whats going on through their camera.

Also, in the tunnel on the way to REX's storage hangar if you keep nagging Otacon he talks about how crazy snake was to take on a Tank and a Hind on his own.


Also, lately I can't get the Old Snake theme outta my head (the music from the title screen) idk why I just it.

I kinda have the feeling that no game will ever be as good as this one was.

They didn't leave it open for a sequel, atleast not without a totally new plotline. And Snake is obviously done. I've been wondering if Akiba might take over in future Metal Gear games. He does share many of Big Boss's genes.

Where have you been the past 2-3 years? Kojima said long ago this was going to be the last MGS, that he is done after this, Snake will die and this would be the end of the story. Now, Konami may make more metal gear games in the future, but they won't involve Snake or Kojima.

In that light, MGS4 was truly perfect. A wonderful masterpiece as one of the greatest developers in the business bows out. Much like my beloved Nobuo Uematsu and the music of FF, Kojima is done after 20 years with his own baby.

I just wish my other hero Keiji Inafune was given the same opportunities with the remaining 3 rockman sagas; To finish them off once and for all and let MM go gracefully. Much as I MM, I think we've seen the limit of what can (reasonably) be done with him, unless someone feels like shelving out the cash for some killer 1080p remakes with fully interactive environments and boss fights.

MM just isn't as big as he used to be but there are a lot of plot holes that haven't been filled in and we'd like to see. MGS at least is finally done in all it's magnificence.

I'm aware, but there was always that random internet speculation that he could change his mind and Snake could be back with Kojima for another. The ending pretty much shut that door.
