Meh.

Re: The Official Gears of War 2 Thread

That guy was super cheesy when he came out. It looked like he was expecting the crowd to go crazy. Instead everyone kinda sat there.

Gears of War was pretty fun. My old roommate and I used to come home from the bars and play co-op mode. I would probably get it, but I think I am leaning more towards a ps3.

Yeah, the presentation was really lacking compared to the Fable 2 and Ninja Gaiden 2 presentations, but nevertheless, I really expect a solid game at a minimum. Gears blew everyone away when it launched, so you can bet Epic will go over the top with the sequel.

Even if it's just like the first, I'm sold.

4-player co-op please, Epic.

At a minimum, seriously. This.

Re: The Official Gears of War 2 Thread

Well the story wouldn't really permit more than 4 unless they plan on adding more main characters.

There's only one 8-player co-op game I need this fall.

I dunno, I thought the replica he was holding was pretty cool, and that scene with Markus driving the chainsaw through the Locust's gut. Other than that yea, wasn't exactly awe-inspiring.

IGN has reported that a new trailer for FF13 has debuted and is just stunning. I hope GT puts it up soon. Also, let's hope the Campaign isn't a total joke this time around. Did anyone else feel like it was a total let down after you beat RAM? Hell, the fight itself was a total joke. Some Aerial combat this time around would be sweet too.

In the mean time I'm going to keep drooling over Rainbow Six Vegas 2.
