Out in stores February 5th for PS3/360 in regular and Collector's Edition ($79.99).

The demo hit PlayStation Network and Xbox Live last week.
Who's played it? What are your thoughts?



Nero is freakin' awesome to play as. I was very, very glad to hear that Dante would control and play almost exactly like he did in DMC3, but for a new flavour, Nero is an excellent addition. The visuals are spectacular, the animation is fluid, the controls are even tighter than they were last time around, and the enemy design so far is impressive, particularly Berial. Devil Bringer is a great mechanic that doesn't feel gimmicky at all like I had feared, and it alongside the Exceed mechanic add a ton more depth to the combat in place of a Style system. So far I've only managed to hit SS rank with combos, but I've been replaying the demo constantly to hone my skills!


Falcon PAUNCH!

I definitely cannot wait to pick up the final game next month. It's certainly more of the same coming off of DMC3, but that's my alltime favourite action game so I totally can't complain.

If you skip, you have to know that it's set in "present day - 2049 AD." You also have to know this was made around 2002-2003, as you may determine from the games parodied.
